We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays.
Joanie (Gremmie is being shy) is posing with a book I just finished and loved. You’ve Been Chosen: Thriving Through the Unexpected by Cynt Marshall is one of the most upbeat and inspirational books I have ever read (and I have read a lot of books). The author managed to rise above a violent childhood and become a top executive at AT &T. She has also survived stage 3 colon cancer and overcome many challenges. Through everything she has always been upbeat, generous and maintained her deep faith in Jesus. This is someone I would want as a friend. I highly recommend this book.
Rosie will be here with three full weeks of dirt tomorrow.
Cute picture of Joanie, and Rosie’s upcoming report sure does sound intriguing! The book sounds good! XO
Thank you. 🙂 Yes, it is.
We here know that the faith of our pawrents and family has helped them immensely during the difficulties of life, including severe health challenges and the deaths of family members. We cannot imagine life without it. It is a stable thing when everything else is in upheaval.
Joanie looks sweet, and we look forward to whatever gossip Rosie might divulge!
Very true. Joanie thanks you. XO
That sounds like a good book, and Joanie look cute beside it.
It is. Thank you, she is a cutie. XO
WOW, three weeks of DIRT! Who could resist? Love that you read so much and mama keeps up with what you read on Goodreads. Books are like chocolate to mama, or white truffles, haha. She calls them her desserts.
She has been keeping notes. 🙂 Same here for me, especially now that I gave up chocolate for Lent. XO
Your Mama always reads the most wonderful books Joanie – the author of this latest one sounds like she knows what she’s talking about and rising above so many tough situations is VERY inspiring. We’ll be anxious to hear what news Joanie has to report!!
Hugs, Teddy
Thank you. She has a lot to report. xO
It’s so great that people share their experiences of health and sickness with others in a book to enlighten effurryone who reads it✨Thanks for the recommondation, Joanie😸😺Double Pawkisses just for you🐾😽💞
Yes, even if it is nothing I have been through it is still inspirational. XO
Joanie and Gremmie are certainly looking good this morning. Boy, that is one Brave woman that has gone through way too much than anyone should be asked of.
Thank you. And I didn’t even write all that she went through. XO
Made the picture big to find Joanie’s Gremmie! Nice to have Joanie’s help this morning. I am ready for Rosie’s dirt… Ha!
Joanie is my reading buddy. XO
The book sounds great and I look forward to Rosie’s family gossip tomorrow.
It is. XO
Oooh, I can’t wait for all the dirt from Joanie. I know she’s busting to tell us, too.
Yes, she is. XO
You’re so cute, Joanie. I know your mom loves to read and she’s really jazzed about this book. It’s one she’ll remember for a very long time.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties and a hug to mom. XO ♥
Thank you. XO
Charlee: “Wow, that Cynt Marshall really did overcome a lot!”
Chaplin: “I don’t think I remember Gremmie ever being shy before, but I can see him!”
He can be shy. He was trying to hide.
Joanie is a cutie. The book sounds good.
Thank you. 🙂 It is.
I’m still muddling throught a good book. it’s called A Higher Call By Adam Makos it’s about 2 WW 2 Pilots one A German Fighter Pilot and the other a B-17 bomber pilot. the B-17 was shot to pieces and barly flying and going the wrong way. instead of shooting down the B-17 the German pilot showed mercy and guided the pilot to the english chanel.
That sounds interesting.
I will be sure to clean my glasses and have a fresh penicl and note pad so that I see and record all the dirt
Hugs and giggling Cecilia
There will be lots of it. 🙂 XO
