Hi everyone. Before Rosie writes, we want to ask for purrs and prayers for our friend Lola. To visit, click here.
Hi everyone! What a week I had. The Great One and Typhoid Mary were here all day last Tuesday so I had to hide. At one point, I headed to the kitchen for a snack and The Great One petted me. It wasn’t that bad, but I didn’t get paid. When the girls are here, they take dad’s coins from the counter and give them to Penny so they can pet her. That is no fair.
Dad’s father passed away in 1999 and dad is finally ready to get rid of stuff. Mom ordered a dumpster and last week they cleaned out the barn and filled that dumpster right up. They found a lot of treasures like dad’s train set and a bunch of American Bricks ( like Legos). Mom invited Grammie over for lunch then put her to work flipping all the bricks over so they would dry. Mom will show photos of the stuff soon.
Mom bought the Thanksgiving turkey on sale for 49 cents a pound. She bought a 20 pound turkey for 3 people so I assume some of that meat will be for us too.
Friday is a little miffed that mom’s photo was in Woman’s World and not hers. The photo mom sent in was of her holding Friday and they cut her out. And Poor Friday and Elvira are the ones who traveled 3000 miles to get here.
Brody hasn’t started his meds yet because mom is playing phone tag with the specialist. She had to let them know where to send the prescription and the message says it can take 48 hours- geez.
Next week is my 4th gotcha day so I am hoping Grammie gets me a soft blankie like she got for Joanie for her birthday.
Well, that is all I have for now. See you next week.
We are joining Comedy Plus’ Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
We’re very sad about Lola and we left them a message. Rosie, you look just darling on your blankie! Wow that sounds like some major decluttering! One perk of doing that is finding things that were lost, or sort of lost before. Gosh, I don’t blame Friday for being miffed! Hope they can get Brody’s med to you soon! XO
Still waiting for the meds. XO
Oh, Rosie, you have such trial and tribulations, keeping watch over all of those wild and wacky people who visit your house and have Pennies for Petting moments and we do hope you get your blankie from Santa…be sure to howl a bit about that. We wrote Lola, thank you for the message. Poor little beautiful darling kitty….
I better get my blankie from Grammie a month before Santa comes. 🙂 Thanks for writing to Lola. XO
My goodness what a busy time you’ve had Rosie with so much to report! We did not know your friend Lola but we’re always sad when a fellow kitty heads to the Bridge. I hope you get a soft blankie for your gotcha day – I just bet your Grammie already has one picked out for you!!!
Hugs, Teddy
Thank you. 🙂 I sure hope so. XO
Rosie, you need to change your name to Quarter. Or Dime. That’ll show Penny who’s boss!
Rosie, you have a lot of information to share today. We like knowing how far the kitties traveled to get to your house. And we hope Brody gets that medicine very soon. It’s been a very long wait. Maybe your treat will be turkey even though Typhoid Mary didn’t give you her treat.
Thank you. 🙂 I hope I get some turkey. XO
Good idea. 🙂
Rosie, what a busy week you had, you poor thing. I hope you get your blankie – so well deserved. Purrs and prayers for sweet Lola.
Thank you. 🙂 And thanks for praying for Lola. XO
You’re most welcome, Ellen.
That isn’t fair that you didn’t get paid for The Great One petting you! I was very sad to hear Lola’s bad news.
Very unfair indeed. XO

Thank you. XO
Rosie what a wonderful newsy gab fest. Boy that was a lot of stuff to fill a dumpster. I know how hard it is to let go of things from the past…..
MOLMOL you didn’t get paid…I say give them your best back of disrespect.
Hugs Cecilia
Thank you. 🙂 XO
I didn’t know Lola, but it’s so sad.
Great price on the turkey.
Downsizing is a good thing.
You always do such a good job on Tuesday.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday, Rosie. Scritches all around and a huge to mom. ♥
Thank you. 🙂 As long as they don’t get rid of us. XO
I hope you have a great gotcha day and get the blanket. Great update. I didn’t know Lola, but it’s sad.

Lola’s blog post has me crying. Her story is a carbon copy of Jezebel’s and despite the staff’s assurances I can’t help wondering if I should have brought her home with Gabapentin that awful April day. So I really appreciate the smiles you’ve given me. And Rosie, I’m sorry your life is horrible. lol Best wishes and hugs to you and yours.
Lola has a great book you might be interested in, it is her diary. Glad we give you smiles. XO
I don’t know Lola but her blog post was sad. I am sending prayers. I think she has a wonderful Mom from reading.
Rosie, so much going on at the Meowing Crew’s home. I agree with Friday and think that was not nice to cut her out 🙁
Can’t believe that your Mom and Dad got the dumpster filled up so quickly. Treasures.. those will be fun pictures. Score on the Thanksgiving turkey!
I have a feeling Grammie will come through on your Gotcha Day… 4th Gotcha Day!
Yes, she does. I had the pleasure of meeting her mom for dinner once. I think she will come through too. XO
I have been to love on Lola. Bless her…love her bunches. Love you too Rosie, but you knew that! XXXOOO
Thank you. XO
Thanks for all the updates, and see, I’ve been saying the girls can’t be that horrible. They know how to pet cats very gently and respectfully. You’d get more attention if you’d quit hiding when they come over. I’m sure if you don’t want to play, just get petted, they will respect your wishes.
I’m praying for Lola.
Yes, they will. Thanks for praying for Lola. XO
That was a good report and yes, you should get paid for petting and I hope you get that blankie!
Thank you. 🙂
That’s very unfair that you didn’t get paid 🙁 Wow, your mom is really into decluttering!!!
Yes, and dad is now too. 🙂
We are pawyering for Lola…the sweetie.
Wow that was a ton of decluttering! We could use a dumpster here, too…
Lots going on at your place, Rosie. We do hope you get your own special blankie, too.
We need another dumpster to clean out his dad’s house now too. XO
I can’t believe you didn’t get paid for being petted! Being paid Pennie’s for pets is a scam, though. What would you do with them? Demand treats for pets! At least that is payment you can use.
Wow! A whole barn full of stuff? That’s a lot of work! You deserve a rest.
I could order my treats from Chewy if I collect enough. 🙂
Now we have to clean out his dad’s house and 5 car garage.
Good point!
Rosie wee are sad about Lola two. Wee leeved a message. Wee hope shee has more time heer.
Iss gonna bee yore 4th Gotcha Day?? Furabuluss! Wee hope you get a nice blankit to lie on two! HURRAH fore THE cleen out an findin kewl stuff! HUU|RRAH fore Turkey….mmmmmm……
