Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. Before our poem, we want to give our condolences to sweet Julie’s mom.

We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful Brody is finally going to have his echocardiogram. It has been a tense few months waiting and hoping nothing would happen to him before he could be seen.

I am also thankful my hubby went to Walmart yesterday and got some kid’s Tylenol for Typhoid Mary who got sick while she was visiting for the day.

We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day.  And here is the photo prompt provided:

Mom said I had to go to bed by eight
on school nights no staying up late.
I just have to know how the story ends.
If I get caught, I will make amends.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. Oh that is very sad about Julie. We wish her mom peace and comfort. I’m glad Brody is going to have his test and I hope the results are okay. Also hoping that Typhoid Mary feels better soon. Ha! Wanting to know how stories end makes me late for bedtime alot, too. XO

  2. So very sad about sweet Julie.
I am about done making a memento for her…

Oh dear, we hope Typhoid Mary will be OK.

And its good that Brody will get his much needed echocardiogram.

That is a cute poem.. I used to do that…LOL!

  3. We’re sorry about your friend Julie and send her humans a hug. Hopefully Typhoid Mary is feeling better. We wish Brody good luck with his echocardiogram! Reading under the covers is one of my Mom’s happiest memories – the early days of becoming an avid reader.

    Hugs, Teddy

Brody, I do pray whatever they find, it’s easily treatable.

Your poem is just right. You can’t go to sleep until you know how the story ends.
