Friendly Fill-Ins Week 382

Hi everyone. Before we get started, I want to ask for more  purrs and prayers for my friend, TW ( Stunning Keisha’s mom).

Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. ___________, _________________ and _______________________ are a few of my favorite things.
2. If I had ________________________, I would ________________________.
3. You don’t have to be young to _________.
4. _________ comes with age.
My answers:
1. Cats, books and coffee are a few of my favorite things. I know cats aren’t things though. 🙂
2. If I had a lot of surplus finds, I would try to earn a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing. For now, I will just keep writing and save my money for vet bills.
3. You don’t have to be young to enjoy life.
4. Wisdom comes with age. I know it sounds like a cliche, but it is true.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
My flashback is from September 2021. Angel Drake made a great pirate.

4.Knowing what truly matters in life comes with age.

    1. Thank you. And thanks for these great answers. I prefer older homes as they have much more character. XO

  2. We continue to pray for TW. We also agree that you are already a creative writer and don’t need a degree to prove it ! Just keep doing what you do. Drake certainly did look like a fierce pirate !!

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy too

  3. I bet every one reading this will have cats as one of their favorite things. My 3 would be cats, books and flowers. Cats being family of course, lol. Angel Drake made a fierce looking Pirate. And one with a bit of gold as his clothes are top taylored.

  4. Purrs and prayers to TW.

What an adorable picture of Angel Drake. Great fill ins. I didn’t participate this week but hopefully I’ll be back in the swing of things soon.

    Have a great weekend!

  5. 1. Ice Cream, Cheetos and Chocolate are a few of my favorite things. I don’t have them very often though.
    2. If I had lots of money, I would buy a bigger boat. One that would keep me more out of the weather in the winter.
    3. You don’t have to be young to live lift to its fullest.
    4. Wisdom, aches and pains comes with age.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-Ins.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to the kitties. ♥

  6. Angel Drake definitely did make a great pirate! Totally enjoyed your Fill-Ins, Ellen. Just keep writing, Ellen♥
    My Fill-Ins~
    1. Mashed potatoes, chicken and noodles are a few of my favorite things.
    2. If I had a slice of carrot cake I would eat it right now!
    3. You don’t have to be young to kick up your heels and be happy being me… says Angel Madi from her blog post today.
    4. Wrinkles and wisdom come with age.
Hugs and Scritches to the Meowing Crew!

    1. Thank you. 🙂 And thanks for these great answers. I like all the things in #1, but ick on carrot cake. XO

  7. Your fill-ins are fantastic, as always! I really relate to your #1, except for the coffee part. I’d opt for some hot chocolate. And I heavily considered getting a degree in creative writing when I went to college, or at least a minor in it, but instead focused on getting my degree in animal sciences. Sometimes I still regret not at least taking more creative writing coursers on the side. And you are so right with #3 and #4. Angel Drake was a purrfect pirate! Purrs!
