Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. I keep eating Smart Food, but I am not getting any smarter- only fatter. 🙁
2. I don’t need a fake fireplace, but I want one.
3. I would want a cat to be etched onto my tombstone. We already have our gravestone, but I do want to get a cat etched onto it at some point.
4. If I heard something go bump in the night, I would assume it is one of the cats. Something goes bump almost every night with 9 cats in the house.

  1. 1. I keep trying to tempt Pipo with yummy wet food, but he doesn’t like them. He will eat h=some kibbles and some wet, but he rarely eats more than half a can a day…
    2. I don’t need new clothes, but I want to try on all kinds of them, though right now we cannot try anything on in the stores…
    3. I would want musical notation and maybe a violin, or a sextet of meezers to be etched onto my tombstone.
    4. If I heard something go bump in the night, these days I would fear that hubby had fallen again… slo I would jump out of bed to help…hope he gets more strength and feeling in his leg after the surgery…

  3. I keep a close watch on this heart of mine, but I don’t really need to as it is won already.
    I don’t need more snuggles, but I WANT more snuggles. Are there ever enough?
    I would want Beloved, Beloved, Beloved And Loving etched onto my tombstone
    If I heard something go bump in the night, it would probably me me, slipping off the slippery duvet!

  4. Laughing at, “Something goes bump almost every night with 9 cats in the house.” I have two and somehow there’s a lot more bumping than the noise of double the noise of one. Bear spends half his time with me – and half with his sisfur (she howls and he goes to her) – though he’ll never admit to it. He is sweet to her – at least at that particular time.

    1. That is funny that he goes to her. Sammy howls and Joanie goes to him only to be attacked and she falls for it every time. 🙂

  7. Meowser Ms. Ellen, I must be eating smart food, too, because my chef keeps telling me I’m getting pudgy! I thought it was just a tummy full of treats.

  10. I love your fill-ins. We have a gas fireplace. It’s beautiful when we turn it on. Perhaps one or two times in the winter. I can see why you want one.

  11. I love the flashback pictures! We live in an apartment and have a wood-burning fireplace, which we love! When I hear things go bump in the night, it is either the neighbors in our building or our cat.

  17. Love the Fill-Ins answers! Dad wants a no-vent fire log thing in our fireplace but moving the cat trees, etc is a lot. We always like your wonderful flashbacks

  19. Really good questions and answers. We still don’t know what Smart Food is but it sounds like a misnomer. The peeps used to eat a cereal called Smart Start.

  27. Two very special costumed kitties!!! It is usually very quiet here at nighttime. So if Mom heard a bump in the night, it would startle her. It would bring back bad memories of when Angel Ciara would have seizures in the middle of the night. That would scare her so much.

  35. Fantastic fill-ins, as always! I am so with you on #2. I’m too afraid of a house fire to have a real fireplace in my home, but I would absolutely love to have a fake one. I love the fake fireplaces that act as space heaters and that also have mantels. And we had the same answer for #4! Purrs!
