Hi everyone!  We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop . 

I am hijacking the blog today because it is our mom’s birthday.

Look! I made her a cake, I am just taking a little taste to make sure it is OK. I was so busy with the cake that I forgot to write a poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day- sorry.

Last year, Mom made a list of 50 things she had learned in her 50 years. To read it, click here 

She has one more to add this year- Always have at least a 6  month’s supply of toilet paper in your home.

  4. Happy birthday to your human! My human is older than yours, but she says that since she hasn’t even had a celebration for her 40th birthday, whatever age she is now doesn’t count. (She had a 30th celebration on Facebook a few years ago.)

  7. Happy birthday to your wonderful and most special Mom! That cake looks like it just MIGHT be more yummy for YOU than HER but I’m sure she’ll appreciate the effort……….have a special day with lots of hugs for Mom.

  22. A joyous happy, happy birthday to your mom! She takes such good care of her fur babies. Those fifty lessons are great and adding the one about TP is certainly true….along with Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer. Who would have guessed? The cake looks awesome and I bet she will “share” it with you. xoxox

  35. Happy Birthday to your wonderful Mom!!! Ours learned her lesson about toilet paper too – she buys some more almost every week that she finds the one she likes in the store. The same goes for paper towels – she is very particular about brand:)

        1. I do that too. I went out with my mom yesterday and had mozarella cheese on my list, but somehow forgot it so I couldn’t make lasagna til today. XO
