Friendly Fill-Ins Week 194

Hi everyone! Time for the Friendly Fill-Ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link ( see below) to the hop so everyone can visit you.

1. I wish I could tell me teenage self ____________________________.

2. I think the most romantic movie is ___________________.

3. _________ was the last time I _________.
4. _________ happens too often.
My answers:
1. I wish I could tell my teenage self to get some anti-anxiety medicine. I started taking it when I was in my 30’s and life greatly improved- I wish I had known how much it could help sooner. Also, I would tell myself to start some exercise habits while young.
2. I think the most romantic movie is The Notebook. I like that she followed her heart.
3. 2015 was the last time I went to NYC. I miss it.
4.  being abandoned happens too often.
We are also joining Create With Joy’s Friendship Friday and Feline Friday currently hosted by Comedy Plus.

Back in February 2017, my kitties participated inBasil’s undraiser. For every cat that wore their hat, they donated to a rescue society.

  1. Those are just too adorable! My angels would have never let me put those hats on them! LOL! Yours were very patient unlike mine! 😀

  2. Sweet angels x

Mum says she anxiety meds don’t work for her, even though she still takes them.

Purrs are the best meds xx

    1. Thank you 🙂 I am sorry they don’t help your mum- has she tried CBD oil- I have heard that works well. I agree purrs are the best. XO

  3. Great replies.

    1. I wish I could tell my teenage self to learn to be more social.
    2. I think the most romantic movie is West Side Story.
    3. Last year was the last time I made pizza.
    4. Computer problems happen too often.

    1. Thank you for these great answers. Being social is overrated. I like West Side Story too. I agree, computer problems do happen too often.

  4. Super duper filling in! We absolutely ADORE that hat the kitties wore for Basil’s fundraiser a few years ago. It looks cute as can be on all the cooperative Angels who wore it. Have a wonderful weekend everyone……….and thanks for co-hosting Fill-ins!

    Love, Teddy

  5. Ellen,

Snowball looks cute. Anxiety wasn’t a bit problem for me until menopausal symptoms kicked in years after my hysterectomy. Surprising once I got my HRT going and dosing figured out my anxieties lifted drastically. Interestingly now when my hormones begin to dip at the end of my 12-14 week cycle I’m happy that even then my anxiety attacks are considerably milder than they were 7-years ago. I don’t remember the movie ‘The Notebook’. I’ll have to look for it. Thanks for hosting the fill-ins fun, my dear. Have a good weekend.

    1. I am sorry you have had trouble with anxiety too. Glad you found a way to help. Have a nice weekend. XO

  6. Now i wonder which of my cats would hold still for a photo with a hat.

Great answers, yes, medication can help so much when our brain chemicals are just not where they should be.

  7. I love your fill-ins. I’ve not seen Notebook. I’ve not even heard of it. I’ll check it out.

Aw on the kitties. So adorable in their hats.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins. Always lots of fun.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Ellen. Scritches to the kitties. ♥

  9. I’m sorry you suffered anxiety for so long. I was lucky that didn’t hit until later for me. My childhood self was just unhappy. Heh… What precious kitties in hats, no doubt bittersweet memories. ~hugs~ And let’s hope Penny gets over whatever she dislikes about Trouble. That must be stressful for you. Take care, my dear.

  10. “The Notebook” is an excellent book, and there was a follow-up one by the same author which was very good, imho. “The Wedding”
I don’t care if the cats don’t like having hats on…I will do it anyhow! It’s not like they pout or get mad; Da Boyz are too easy-going for that. I just have to find good hats, without breaking the bank…LOL!

  11. I sure love the photo shares! You have great answers today too! I Missed last week and felt sad! We have lots of snow and it is so cold. Hoping your weekend is wonderful. HUGS

  12. Oh, yeah, I remember the bobble hat, Granny crochet one for me, because she didn’t know that it would be sent…*don’t laugh sweet angels*…MOL… Great answers on the fill ins, miss Ellen 🙂 Granny’s favourite Love movies are Titanic, City of Angels and What dreams may come😎😸Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend🐾😽💞

  13. Like Kirkegaard said “Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards”. I also wished I could have given my teenage self advice, it would have made life so much better.
Anti anxiety medicine as been a life saver for myself as well.
    Have a great weekend!

  14. Well Jerry and I just finished watching The Notebook. I thought if you picked it we had to watch it. I had never seen it. I was going to pick The Way We Were but your choice was beautiful. Love James Garner and Gena Rowlands. Love your Angels in their hats♥
    My Fill-Ins…
    1. I wish I could tell my teenage self to have taken calcium for the rest of my life.
    2. I think the most romantic movie is The Notebook. It made me teary in the best way. Thanks, Ellen.
    3. My wedding was the last time I wore pantyhose.
    4. Bullying happens too often.

    1. Thank you for trusting my judgement on the movie 🙂 Glad you liked it. Thank you for these great answers. Calcium is important. I rarely wear pantyhose, I think last time was my niece’s wedding on 2013. There are a lor of bullies out there in schools and cyber ones too. Have a nice weekend! XO

  15. I love The Notebook! I’ve read it more than once and also watched the movie. More than once 🙂

Your angel kitties are adorable! xo

  16. I always look forward to seeing how you fill in the fill-ins. I have actually seen The Notebook multiple times. We analyzed that movie in a class I took in which we were discussing the health and care of the elderly, most specifically those with Alzheimer’s. It’s sad but true that abandonment happens often. It’s saddening to think of that. What’s much happier is seeing your adorable cats in hats! What precious memories these photos are. Purrs!
