Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Millie is thankful for his Dad’s lap. I managed to get this shot yesterday without waking either of them.

We are also joining   Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt..

I guess we can blame global warming,
last night is sure was storming.
We sure got a lot of snow,
now it is 70 degrees so I will go with the flow.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. YIKES on the snow – we knew you all would be getting a PILE of it up there – hope you didn’t lose any power and stayed comfy and cozy like The Dad and Millie did! I’m sure there will be some snow clearing up there today but make sure Dad doesn’t go out in his robe!!!!

    Hugs, Teddy

  2. MY gosh, believe it or not…this is true as the sun rose this morning! When mom was out in the park walking yesterday morning, there was a man in heavy coat with a hood over his head, MOWING grass on a riding lawn mower, OVER the snow.

  3. Aw, what a great shot of Millie and dad.

    Love the poem.

I’m all ready for the Friendly Fill-ins. Thank you for co-hosting the fun.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥

  5. Dat sure looks like some good nap snuggling..

We feel ya on da global warming. Yesterday it was in da 50’s which is nuts for da south dis time of year and by next week we will be back to da mid to high 70’s. Mama wishes it would pick a season and stick wif it cause her barometric migraines are not very happy with da bee bopping around.

    xoxo,
    Matilda & Matt

  6. Ellen, the photo of David and Millie is priceless. Men and their cats always make me smile. Maybe that’s what happened to this shoveling guy. Warm weather followed by snow, so all his winter clothes were put away from summer. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  7. I definitely love how beautiful snow is, but Asami and I are sort of wimps when it comes to cold weather, so you’ll often find us lounging in front of the space heater this time of year 🙂
Millie & Dad look so cute and comfy together!
