Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop .

The kitties are thankful for the haunted house scratcher.

We are also joining   Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt..

Sure, it looks like a nice tent
but, it would still cause me discontent.
Unless there is a private place to pee
then this is no place you would find me.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. _____________________ makes me nervous.

2. I should get rid of ____________, but I can’t because ________________.
3. My ideal home would include _________.
4. You would not find _________ in my ideal home.

  1. HAHAHA……you’re right about camping – no matter how you do it, you must have proper “potty facilities” ! Nice tents don’t mean “all the comforts of home” ALLLLLLLLLLL the time………haha. Love the Halloween scratcher house!

    Hugs, Teddy

  2. Standing ovation on the poem…when my daughter was in Jr. Scouts they were going to Camp Mary Atkinson (here in our county) to spend the night..im rustic cabins. She was excited until she found out they would all be digging their ‘facilities’ in the ground.

Kitties I love your haunted house!!
    Hugs Cecilia

  3. OH look there is a great big tent
in California I might afford to pay the rent
I’m with you about no place to pee …
so that is not where you would find me.
There are also bugs when you go outside
so I’ll just stay in my house and hide!

  4. That’s a good thankful for sure and I love your poem. I hear you.

I’m all ready for the fill-ins. Great questions. Thank you for co-hosting.

Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥

  6. Oh, what a happily haunted house you kitties have! We often try to keep those sorts of scratcher houses standing at our house, but we never succeed. The kitties around here make for a proficient demolition team. And your poem is so clever, as always! The whole bathroom situation would be a deal-breaker for me, too. Purrs!

  7. What a fun scratcher, it looks like many of your crew do enjoy it.

Privacy is very, very important, that is for sure.

    Have a great Thursday!

  8. Our mom is with you when it comes to that peeing thing. Such a cute poem. We see that haunted house seems to have a we bit of trouble staying on its foundation. But no one seems to mind. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  9. Not a fan of camping. Mom and me…we are too spoiled by creature comforts. Enough heat and enough cool at appropriate times. XX

  10. Darling Haunted House scratcher and kitties!
Here are my responses to your fill-ins!
    1. Lightning makes me nervous.
    2. I should get rid of some fancy clothes I never wear anymore, but I can’t because maybe I will want to wear them sometime.
    3. My ideal home would include a catio for Lucy.
    4. You would not find a garbage disposal in my ideal home because they tend
to clog up and cause a call for a plumber!.

    1. Thank you for sharing your answers here. I enjoyed them. I have never had a garbage disposal and now I am glad I haven’t. Have a nice weekend! XO

  11. That house scratcher is cool. Did you cut out from magazines and pasted on the box? I wish I can also decorate my cat bubble backpacks for Halloween. I will just get cotton, web or paste bat cutouts.
