Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop
Joanie and Emmy are thankful for the heated throw.
We are also joining Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt..
Indians were here long before us
pushed aside with a big fuss.
After hundreds of years they found a way to get revenge,
Getting our money from casinos, their lost land they can finally avenge.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. __________________ is tasty.
2. If I was going to a Halloween party, I would go as _____________________.
3. If everything goes according to plan, _________.
4. _________ is the spookiest thing I have ever experienced.
Nothing better than a warm place to get comfy when it starts to get chilly! Your words go very well with the photo prompt. Lovely picture to write words to.
Thank you. XO
A heated THROW!? You guys are so lucky!!!
We are 🙂 XO
Ha, so true!!
All cats should have a heated throw, we bet they spend a lot of time on that during the winter!
They sure do 🙂
We call our heated throw “Mom.” MOL!
I hope she gets it out for you 🙂 XO
You are so correct about Casinos. In Cherokee, NC they have a booming business in the Casinos.
Hugs Cecilia
There have a lot in New England too 🙂 XO
Me and my kitty usually like to lay in front of our artificial fireplace (a.k.a. electric space heater) and get warm.
Used to have a heated blanket/throw but the coils went out. Maybe I’ll get another one 🙂
You should get another 🙂
Tis the season for cozy and warm sweeties! Cool little poem too. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Thank you. XO

Heated throws are the very best.
Love your poem. It’s spot on.
I’m all ready for the Friendly Fill-ins. Great questions.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. ♥
They are 🙂 I look forward to your answers. XO
If it keeps a kitty nice and cosy, then it’s purrfect!
Exactly 🙂
Heated throws, what a nice idea – hmmmmm, I wonder if they’re on sale somewhere …

Heated blankies ROCK!
The Florida Furkids
They do 🙂
Can we join you two ladies? A heated throw we could use very nicely.
Shoko
Sure 🙂 XO
Heated blankets and throws are shared here with glares, but seldom a full-on tussle. Yours look like they don’t mind sharing at all, good for them.
Never thought of the casinos as payback, but i think you are right.
They are good at sharing the bigger ones 🙂
You can’t beat a good blankie!
Very true 🙂
MOL Yep, the Indians have it all here in Oklahoma. Luv the foto. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Thank you. XO
How lucky you two are to have a heated throw!
We are 🙂
Heated blankies of all kinds are awesome. I use mine even in the summer, I find it helps a lot with aches and is very soothing. That is a great poem, and so very true. They’ve had to wait a long time to start getting their own back, and I hope this helps.
I bet my cats would enjoy them all summer too 🙂 XO
Those throws are great to sleep on or hide under. We like to hide a lot!
They are 🙂
Brilliant poem….I’d say that is revenge for sure…..Indians have been so poorly treated but they retain their beautiful culture (and a lot of our money!).
Hugs, Pam
Thank you. XO
That looks like a very comfy heated throw.
It sure is 🙂
Oh, a heated throw sounds purrfect for this time of year, Joanie and Emmy. You both certainly look cozy! We are finally getting autumn weather, and we are loving it. Some days it already actually feels even colder than autumn. The other night it dipped below freezing outside. And, as always, your poem is so clever! Purrs!
The kitties love their warm stuff 🙂 It has been cold here too- I love it. XO
