Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop

Joanie and Emmy are thankful for the heated throw.

We are also joining   Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem to go with this photo prompt..

Indians were here long before us
pushed aside with a big fuss.
After hundreds of years they found a way to get revenge,
Getting our money from casinos, their lost land they can finally avenge.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. Heated throws are the very best.

Love your poem. It’s spot on.

I’m all ready for the Friendly Fill-ins. Great questions.

Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. ♥

  2. guyz….we got R heeted blanketz out thiz week two….gettin kinda brisk
    now at dark o clox !! 😉 ♥♥

  3. Heated blankets and throws are shared here with glares, but seldom a full-on tussle. Yours look like they don’t mind sharing at all, good for them.

Never thought of the casinos as payback, but i think you are right.

  4. Heated blankies of all kinds are awesome. I use mine even in the summer, I find it helps a lot with aches and is very soothing. That is a great poem, and so very true. They’ve had to wait a long time to start getting their own back, and I hope this helps.

  5. Brilliant poem….I’d say that is revenge for sure…..Indians have been so poorly treated but they retain their beautiful culture (and a lot of our money!).

    Hugs, Pam

  6. Oh, a heated throw sounds purrfect for this time of year, Joanie and Emmy. You both certainly look cozy! We are finally getting autumn weather, and we are loving it. Some days it already actually feels even colder than autumn. The other night it dipped below freezing outside. And, as always, your poem is so clever! Purrs!
