Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
I am thankful I got to spend the days with the kids on Tuesday. Even if it means I will probably have my first cold of the season by tomorrow thanks to The Boy.
We are joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day
Here is our poem for this fun prompt.
The Hulk may be green
but I can be as mean.
I need to find who stole my hickory nuts
then I will get even with that putz.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. My first celebrity crush was __________________.
2. If I could make up a new holiday it would be called ____________________.
3. _________ is the last thing on my mind these days.
4. If my _________ could talk, it would probably tell me _________.

Hope you don’t catch cold! That is a hilarious poem, bwa hahaha! XO
Thank you. 🙂 So far, no symptoms. XO
That’s a funny poem!! I hope never to meet a squirrel like this one…let alone our pups, LOL!
Thank you. 🙂 I hope you had a nice birthday. XO
I hope you don’t catch a cold, but glad you enjoyed time with the kids. Fun poem, that squirrel certainly looks mean.
Thank you. 🙂 Yes, it does. XO
HAHAHAHA! Hilarious poem for “Mr. Muscles” !! We also hope you do NOT get a bad cold – but it is definitely the season for it.
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Oh no please do not catch a cold this early. But I know it’s just too easy to do when someone else has one. That’s a silly squirrel and I’m glad mine don’t look like that, but that was a very good poem. I definitely remember watching the TV show The Hulk.
So far no symptoms. I used to watch it too. Now The Boy likes the cartoon version. XO
What a fun image, and your poem is great, I hope you don’t get a cold. 🤧
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Small children are definitely germ factories. Very cute, but they want to share everything.
Yes, and The Boy is always gets extra close to me when he is sick. XO
I am going to say your resistance is too high right now at the beginning of the season to catch a cold!
My boys who are as Cathy said, germ factories, all gave me everything they caught at school starting with kindergarten. I spent more time sick than not it seems like as though. Sometimes there were two of the three, in bed WITH me all day with the flu- more often than I would ever think we could all be that sick! .
Loved the poem!
I hope you are right about my resistance. XO
Java Bean: “SQUIRR—uhhhh, never mind …”

Paws crossed you don’t come down with the Boy’s cold especially at Thanksgiving time. Nice job with the poem! Sure am thankful the squirrels in my garden dont look like that. They’re bad enough being the lithe little troublemakers they are here. 🙂
Thank you. 🙂 I am glad there are none like that here too. XO
Excellent poem; nuts and putz!
Thank you. 🙂
That’s a nice thankful, except for maybe a cold coming your way. Fun poem too! Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

MOl great poem!
Thank you. 🙂
Hopefully you wont’ get that cold.
Thank you. 🙂
Colds are a pain. Maybe you’ve had this particular virus before and are still immune, so maybe you won’t get it. Most colds give you immunity for up to 20 years after you’ve had that particular one. It’s just there are so many, so you never know.
Wonderful poem, you made me laugh.
Yes, they are. That would be good. So far, no symptoms. Glad you liked the poem. XO
It may not help you in this scenario but I stopped getting ill during travel by never touching my face unless my hands were freshly washed. People can be so gross. I even wash my hands after touching a restaurant menu. Be well, my dear.
That is very wise. Unfortunately, The Boy kept handing me his used tissues. XO
Funny poem. I hope you don’t get a cold.
Thank you. 🙂 Me too. XO
Your poem rocks
Thank you. 🙂
Fun poem!
Thank you. 🙂
