Wordy Wednesday

Hi everyone! We are joining a new hop today byFiveSibes-# Waiting on Wednesday. This is to spotlight pets in need of forever homes. Recently I was contacted from someone in South Carolina and asked to adopt to older males. I want to and hope to soon, but after Sammy’s $1500 vet bill last week my hubby wasn’t too keen on taking in more cats- especially those with medical issues. I am working on him.

I was also asked if I knew anyone that would be interested in these two female kitties. They were rescued from a feral colony and are quite friendly. They are guestimated to be 1 or 2 years old. They are currently living in cages in someone’s garage which I guess is better than being outside, but they sure could use a forever home. I have transportation that can be arranged pretty much anywhere along the East coast- anyone out there from Maine to Florida know of anyone that would like to adopt them?

  1. Oh I wish I lived on the east coast. I’d take them in a heartbeat but the a divorce would happen quickly.

  2. Oh I hope someone is able to take those beautiful ladies and give them a better home than a cage!

    Hugs, Teddy

  3. They are adorable! I wish I could take them, but we can’t right now. I hope they find their forever homes soon.

  4. Oh! Best wishes to all these kitties. With the age of our geriatric cats, my husband doesn’t want to bring any more into the house. πŸ™ In fact, Tilly gave us such a fright the other night that he said, “No more cats.” I think that was just a temporary opinion after getting so upset. Meanwhile, Tilly seems fine after one evening of tinkling on the carpet and going every few minutes. Whew!

I’m sorry about Polar Bear’s issue, and all your ongoing health concerns. That’s rough. As for the historical book, I’m afraid it would upset me. So thanks for taking it on and sharing. Be well!

    1. I hope your kitties are OK. Your hubby sounds like mine too, he can’t take the pain.

  5. So many kitties in need. I wish all kitties had a fabulous forever home where they could roam where they wished and had lots of love.

Yikes on the vet bill. That’s huge.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. β™₯

  6. Gorgeous little furballs! We’d love to have another kitty but with our, Amanda, being older and definitely a one cat family type, we wouldn’t want to mess with the quality of her life. Amanda was given to us by some friends that had 2 other cats. She hid all the time because she was afraid of the other cats. AND, the owner didn’t take very good care of their pets. I hope these kitties find a forever loving home.

  7. best fishez two ewe both; we hope yur in yur foreverz bye monthz end ~~~ β™₯β™₯β™₯

  8. Thanks for sharing. We hope these two find wonderful furever homes real soon. They are just really cute. Have a wonderful day and we hope to hear that they found new homes next time you post.

  9. You have such a kind heart, Ellen, and are always doing everything you can to help kitties in need. Sending all of our purrs and prayers for these kitties!

  10. Lulu: “Poor kitties! I hope they get adopted soon!”
Charlee: “That tuxedo kitty could almost be one of our litter mates, don’t you think, Chaplin?”
Chaplin: “Well he doesn’t have a mustache or a goatee, just the black and white suit. So he might be a tuxedo, but he’s too clean-shaven to be a Hipster.”
