Wordless Wednesday

Hi everyone. Before we get started, I want to ask for prayers for our friend Terry. To visit, click here.

And now for a new edition of Who Wore it Best? with Rusty and Rudy

Lots of flowers are starting to blossom so the boys thought they could blossom too. Actually, they would have preferred not to, it was my idea.

Rusty

or Rudy?

C’mom Rudy, you can do it.

And today is I day on The A-Z Blogging Challenge.

I for icicles. My mom crocheted a dozen icicles for us many years ago. Can you see one to the left of the poinsettia blossom?

I also have some glass icicles I hang in the windows in the dining room where the cats can’t get to them.

  1. Rusty wore it best. My best goes out to Terry.
I remember years ago my grandmother put these icicles on the Christmas tree and they were silver and you just could throw them they were so flimsy and they made humongous mess if you weren’t careful.

    1. Rusty thanks you. I remember those and hope they are no longer sold as they are dangerous for cats. XO

  2. We’re purring up a storm here for Terry! Well, Rusty was probably best but I have to give Rudy credit for putting in a little extra effort. Cute icicles! XO

  3. Rusty gets an “A” for putting up with the flower headband the best! LOL Love the icicles on the tree. We are hoping Terry will be fine – we’ve been sending POTP.

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy

  4. Rudy gets an A+ for making a gallant effort of putting the flowers on. He just doesn’t understand how much we love spring flowers. That was a lot of effort your mom put into making the icicles and they are beautiful.

  5. Both boys gave it their best shot!! Prayers for Terry…we are thinking of him many times in the day.

  6. Sending prayers for Terry, and left a comment in his blog. Rusty gets an A+ for wearing it best. I love the idea of glass icicles hanging in the windows.

  7. Sending prayers for Terry.
So, if that is Rudy with the flowers on in the last photo, after having given the headband a bit of a bad time in the above photo then I vote for both Rudy and Rusty! They both did a great job 🙂

  8. We’ve been praying for Terry.

It’s a tie. They both did a great job.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to mom. ♥

  9. You sweet kitties are adorable ~ and yes ~ lots of healing energy hugs for Terry ~

  10. I think Rusty wins this time. But some points to Rudy for the effort and being a good sport.
    Sending thoughts for Terry.

  11. Awww the kitties with the blossoms! Both are adorable. Pretty Christmas decorations, too. I remember the days we had those silvery strings called icicles we’d drape over the branches. I don’t know if people do that any more. 🙂

    1. Thank you. 🙂 I would never use those as they are a danger to cats. I hope they don’t sell them anymore. XO

  12. Looks like a win for Rusty though both kitties look adorably cute sporting a spring headband. While I’m sure winter’s chill will visit us before it’s all over, crocheted icicles seem better after some warm temps. Great job with your ongoing A-Z challenge.

  13. Precious little flowers! I hang icicles with white lights on my front window. We’re purring and praying for Terry.

  14. As always you are one amazing woman. LOVE the icycles. Perhaps you could advise us on how to leave condolences for Lightenings family. We click on google and nothing happens and there is nowhere to leave our words.

  15. Charlee: “Ooh, tough call.”
Chaplin: “We have to give this one to Rusty when it comes to wearing the flower.”
Oona: “But Oona gives Rudy a special award for biting it. That is just what Oona does whenever Dada tries to put her collar on her!”
Charlee: “You have a collar? I’ve never seen you wearing it.”
    Oona: “BECAUSE OONA BITES IT!!!”
