Hi everyone! I haven’t written a post since June so I figured I would give you an update.
I have heard the term, terrible twos before, but never realized just how terrible they could be until Rudy and Rusty arrived. They never stop moving. One of them gave Friday quite the chase. Not sure which one, they look the same to me. Mom claims that one is smaller with a grumpier face and little hairs that stick out by his ears that make him look like Grandpa on The Munsters.
Rosie is in a snit because every time she tries to watch her string show on youtube, this happens:
Yup, one of the terrible two’s.
My sister and I are all settled in here. And we already have seniority now that there are 3 cats that arrived after us. I like Tuffy, he visits me sometime and he is not like those other two.
It is getting colder here than I am used to. She opens the windows when it is only 60 degrees. Who does that? Maybe she is part Eskimo or something. Emmy and Joanie have a heated blanket. Maybe mom will set me up with one of those too.
Penny claims she is going to write a post next Tuesday with lots of Thanksgiving tips. I will believe it when I see it.
Don’t forget to vote today! I have been reminding people to do that for years- check out this post on my blog from November 2016- click here.

Thank you. 🙂 XO
Interesting post, Elvira. I think my kittens have the terrible twos also, even though they are actually three. They just haven’t grown out of it. XO
Oh no ! I be theese two won’t grow out of it til there 10. XO
Elvira! You are looking terrific! I am sure glad we don’t have any terrible twos here! I have enough trouble with Jo Jo and Cinnamon (Kozmo is ol)> Sending you PURRS Marv
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Hope those ‘Terrible Two(s)’ settle down…eventually, but in our experience, don’t ho;d yoour breath LOL!
Maybe the string game hog needs his own iPad:)
Glad you have gotten some seniority by now!
Rosie would love her own IPAD. 🙂 XO
I have no idea what the the terrible two’s mean but then I am an only Bun xoxo Little Miss Titch
You are so lucky. XO
Nice to hear from you again, Elvira. It sounds like life is very lively with the two year olds running and playing everywhere.
Thank you. 🙂 It is. xO
Well Elvira those newcomers will keep all of you on your toes (paws?) for a while as they explore their new home. I think things will settle down soon – really I do. In the meantime, I hope there will be more heated blankies for all of you coming soon because my Mom says she thinks this will be an “EPIC” winter! EEEK!
Hugs, Teddy
Mom said Santa will get me a blanket. XO
Elvira…you sound like a mature lady! And you made Mom smile.
I am 12. Glad I made you smile. XO
Good to hear from you, Elvira. Glad you’re settling in. We definitely recommend an electric blanket. They’re as warm as a human and don’t move around as much
Thank you. 🙂 Good idea. XO
Such a busy household! Filled with lots of love. xo
Thank you. 🙂 XO
A very consise report on the Meowing Crew, Elvira! Good news about you and your sister settling in well. I am glad you like Tuffy. Too bad about Rosie not being able to watch her string. Looking forward to Thanksgiving tips! All in all, sounds like the Meowing Crew is doing well adjusting to the new additions.
Thank you. 🙂 Rosie can watch it when they are in another room. XO
Opens the windows at 60 degrees ?? 😮 That’s just CRAZY!
I agree. 🙂 XO
Great to get an update from you Elivira! I’m sure the terrible twos will calm down soon.
Thank you. 🙂 Yes, in about 10 years. XO
It’s good to hear from you, Elvira! Our Callie went from her terrible two’s to her terrible three’s! MOL
Thank you. 🙂 And these two are not even one yet.
Young’uns are crazy!
Yes, they are.
Terrible twos is a very real thing. I so remember.
You made me laugh at the cold. You’ll get used to your new environment. You’ll see.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties. xo ♥
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Just think how boring it would be if you were all the same! Sounds like they keep things very interesting! 🙂 <3
Good point. 🙂
Just returned from voting.
What a fun update
Hugs Cecilia
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Charlee: “It sounds like you are settling in nicely, if only those rambunctious orange cats wouldn’t keep tearing up the place. Kind of like what Bean does here.”
Lulu: “Hey, I like Bean.”
Charlee: “Of course you do. You’re a dog.”
Chaplin: “We are starting to use our heated cat cups here, too! It’s down in the 60s and Mama and Dada don’t turn the heat on until it’s down in the 50s. Brrr.”
Bean: “If you are chilly, come on down here and let’s play. That’ll warm you up!”
Chaplin: “Hard pass, thanks.”
It is going to be in the 20’s here tonight.
Sounds like you’re handling it well. I hope your mom gets you a heated blanket. And yep, I voted!
Thank you. 🙂 Glad you voted too.
Kits are little energy bunnies for YEARS, drives us crazy here too! They should have an Energizer Kitten rather than a bunny – MOL!
Yes, they should. 🙂
We have 12 kitties of different ages at my house.. And one AssWabbit who shall be nameless (Rabbit) who makes up for the fact that we have so many seniors. Momma tells Daddy to stop complaining because one day Wabbit will be old like the others are now, and he’ll miss the mischief. Daddy says he is pretty sure he won’t.
We had 12 here too until the terrible two joined us. XO
Thank you, Elvira! You are a fun and funny cat, i hope you do another post soon.
Thank you. 🙂 I hope to do another one soon.
We definitely voted! Cheers!
YAY!
Great update.
Thank you. 🙂
Great post, Elvira. We hear ya about the weather … the colder temps are definitely on their way. We hope you get one of those heated blankets — how awesome would that be?
Oh, we voted, too.’
XO
Thank you. 🙂 Glad you voted too. XO
Texas kitties definitely need heated blankies!
Oh, and you got seniority really fast!
Yes, we did. 🙂
Yes, we will. 🙂
It’s delightful to see you do a post Elvira, I used to read your words before. Have fun watching the newbies try to figure things out!
Thank you. 🙂
Im so happy Elvira you are starting to feel comfortable and Friday seems to love her life there.❤️❤️❤️
I am happy too. 🙂 XO
I like it cool, too. ~grin~ Your comment on Penny’s Thanksgiving post cracked me up. 😀
Thank you. 🙂 XO
