Thankful Thursday

We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I thought you would like to see another tummy shot today. Mom is thankful that Grammie stayed with us all day so she could go meet a dear friend for lunch on Tuesday. We will show you photos soon. Mom is also thankful that Grammie didn’t color her new shower curtain. Grammie told her she felt like coloring some of the cats.:)

Here is my poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day to go with this photo.

Give me a home
where the buffalo roam.
I think not!
I just need warm spot.
Also some treats
and lots to eats.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. Mom came up with the first two and our co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. Cute tummy. 🙂

Why would Grammie color the shower curtain? I’m glad she was able to visit with you so that your Mommy could visit her friend.

Treats and lots to eats is a great ending to your poem. 🙂

    Thanks for the fill-ins, Ellen.

    Have a blessed night!

    1. Thank you. The shower curtain looks like a coloring book 🙂 I am lucky that my mom doesn’t mind kitty sitting. I hope you have a blessed night too. XO

  2. Saphera totally agrees with writing poetry about treats and eats, but prefers to eat them.
Hope you have a great day and don’t have any markers available for those who are inspired to color that curtain!

  3. How nice that your Grammie stayed longer with you. Bet that was fun. We like the shower curtain and it is nice uncoloured ,though maybe one or two 😉 MOL!!

  4. We’re always happy for a view of that adorable tummy of yours, Joanie! And this here human is in love with that shower curtain. We can see where your Grammie is coming from, though, because it does look like a purrfectly giant coloring sheet. And your poem had us smiling! It also made us hungry for treats. I can’t wait to see your fill-ins tomorrow! Have a beautiful day!

  5. I love tummy shots. Too cute.

I would want to color the shower curtain too.

I’m not participating in Friendly Fill-ins this week. We’re on a cruise.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. ♥

  6. Tell your Grammie that I think she should color the pussycats black, but I guess I’m biased, ’cause I’m a chat noir. Tee hee hee. Or maybe she could color each one to represent different breeds and all the colors pussycats come in? My fill in answers: 1. giant catnip toy 2. My noms served on fine china 3. snuggle with Mom 4. making the doggie smell better.

    1. We do have a lot of black cats here too 🙂 Thank you for these great answers. I like your idea for a costume. XO

  8. That was very nice of Grammie – everybody deserves some time with a good friend.

We think we might like to roam where the buffalo roam, but only when they have moved on – they look like that are a lot bigger than us.

  9. Two days in a row with a beautiful tummy photo. We are so happy to see. Grammie might next time try to color the shower curtains. Thanks for sharing your poetry and the great photos. Have a wonderful rest of your day.

  10. Excellent poem. We had a terrific chuckle. Tummy photos are always appreciated. Cannot wait to see photos and hear about your visit with Pam and David. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  11. Some of those cats would be fun to color, but on a coloring sheet.

A visit to where the buffalo roam would be plenty for me, i want to live here.

  12. It just so happens that I DID want to see a cute kitty belly today! My granddaughter (2yrs. old) stayed the night with us last night and I spent the day at her house helping with her and the 6 week-old. Being a Grammie is so much fun and I’m glad y’all got to spend time with yours. She sounds fun!

  13. That’s a lovely poem with probably more than just a hint of truth to it. Truth be told, our Mom would probably color a cat or two on your shower curtain. Guess that means she won’t be visiting you anytime soon. MOL! Mmmm, belly shots are the best.
