Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful that Rudy has been extra snuggly lately. He was on me in this photo.

I am also thankful that my mom is safe. I don’t follow a lot of things on the news, but the case of Savannah Guthrie’s missing mom has disturbed me greatly. My mom is the same age, and I can’t even imagine how awful if would be for her to be missing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

  3. This event is a one-off thing…1,000,000 has been offered and has not been taken yet so there must be a reason for this unusual event. Please do not worry about your mama. If only this mama has been taken because the man loved her or some such fairy tale……I pray he returns her and then gets VERY lost.

  5. What a cute pic of Rudy. I am glad your mom is safe too. My heart goes out the Nancy Guthrie, and her family. It seems with all our technology, she would have been found by now.

  6. Sometimes we just have to look around and see what other troubles people have, then we realize how fortunate we are at our own home. We have so much we can be thankful for this winter don’t we.

  7. Oh my yes. The continuing reports on the Mom are not hopeful. I can’t imagine why on earth someone would DO that. An aged woman, needing medication, blameless…I feel so badly for the family and certainly for the Mom.

    Charlee: “We didn’t know who Savannah Guthrie was before her mom disappeared and we still kinda don’t, but we hope they are reunited safely. We would hate it if anything happened to our Mama or Dada and we didn’t know where they were.”

    I agree Ellen Savannah’s mom. One thing I know with certainty sub humans preying on elderly, sick and children will destined to a long hot agonizing after life….

    I do agree, the whole Guthrie thing is awful, it makes me so sad.

    Our Mom is praying for a good resolution to the Nancy Guthrie situation, but it is not looking good. We are all so sad for what that poor family has to endure.

  20. Winter was made for snuggles! I’ve been following the Guthrie case closely too. It’s just tragic and so scary. No one is safe anywhere.
