Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
I am thankful for the first home grown zucchini of the season. My hubby grows them inside on the heated porch.
Sorry, I skipped the poem again. Maybe next week.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

Nothing like home-grown veggies, and a heated porch sounds marvelous! XO
They were tasty. XO
Wow, that sure is making good use of your bonus growing room! I hope they were yummy!
They were. XO
Fresh veggies?! Oooh, rather quite jealous-they always taste better than grocery store veggies. Enjoy your bounty!
Thank you. 🙂
Those zucchini look lovely. I have never seen yellow ones before but they would make a dish look much more colurful than plain green ones.
Thank you. 🙂 He grows green and yellow during the summer, but we prefer the green. It is so tender. XO
Knowing where you live this is fantastic that you already have fresh vegetables. Precious wants to know how Brody is doing, and I have been bad by not asking sooner.
Thank you. 🙂 Brody is good ( knock on wood, 3 times). He has an echocardiogram scheduled for July and he has been taking his meds. XO
I love the fill-ins so I will think of them today….and we have no veggies here yet. Mom thinking of tomatoes.
Thank you. 🙂 She could grow one inside. XO
I love the idea of growing your own veggies, and a heated porch sounds wonderful.
Thank you. 🙂 It is.
I’m surprised you have veggies in a porch already. Do you need pollinators? So cool!
No, these are self-pollinating. He also has a cucumber plant that is too.
Wow, that’s amazing!
Thank you. 🙂
Your husband has a green thumb. Those look nice! 🙂
Thank you. 🙂 XO
The Lady loves zucchini…and squash too. Me, not so much. ~Murphy
Cats usually don’t. 🙂

That zucchini is beautiful! It says SUMMER!
Thank you. 🙂 It was tasty too. XO
Nice zucchini!
The Hubby tells me he wants a vegetable and herb garden, but he still hasn’t gotten around to doing it.
Thank you. 🙂 Hopefully, he will.
How nice to have a vegetable garden. The zucchini looks great.
Thank you. 🙂
Bet those zucchini will be tasty. Nothing better than home grown veggies. Mom is excited to start some tomato plants in May.
Woos – Misty and Timber
She should start them inside sooner than that so they can go outside in May. 🙂
That’s great you can grow them in the porch!
We are lucky. 🙂
Oh yum, homegrown veggies and the best! Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Thank you. 🙂
Very impressive!
Thank you. 🙂 Tasty too.
Hooray for summer’s first produce, before it’s even summer!
Thank you. 🙂
Charlee: “Ooh, our Mama loves those things! She slices them up and roasts them! Sometimes our Dada uses them to make pizza crust, too.”
Java Bean: “Ayyy, do the other Italians know about this?! Seems like a good way to get kicked out of the club.”
I have heard of cauliflower pizza crust, but never zucchini- interesting. 🙂 XO
