Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful that Typhoid Mary got through her procedure without incident.  Also thankful for little reminders of the kids. Last month, The Great One stuck this on my phone. I would have preferred a cat sticker, but when I see this, I think of her. This is an axolotl – they are all the rage in the ages 6- 10 groups.

We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day.  And here is the photo prompt provided:

Check this out- I can touch my toes.
Next up, I will balance a ball on my nose.
I don’t mind this little meet and greet
as long as in the end I get something good to eat.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. I can’t wait to have ________________ on Thanksgiving.
2. Our Christmas tree goes up ______________________________.
           3. I’d like to create _________ for _________.
           4. I prefer to shop _________ when buying _________.

  1. Oh, what was Typhoid Mary having done? We miss that and hope that darling is okay. Love the poem.

  2. Chaplin: “That axolotl is very cute! Our Dada’s phone has no stickers on it, but its case makes it look like a TARDIS.”
Charlee: “Hmm, I suppose a meet-and-greet might be okay if I outweighed everyone I was meeting by several hundred pounds …”

  3. The sticker on your phone is a sweet thought of you from TGO♥ Yes, very thankful for TM’s successful and quick recovery from the procedure she had done. Your poem made me laugh! I needed it today. Nothing big, nothing wrong—I just needed a laugh. Discombobulated today… I needed a reset!

  4. Well done with the poem. Aww, love the sticker and how it will always remind you of the GO.

  5. Glad Typhoid Mary is healing from the procedure ~ fun poem and fun sticker on your phone too ~ hugs,

Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,
