Now for that review. The One-Of-A-Kind-Cat Book by Ciye Cho is a picture book for adults. Perfect timing for something like this being that adult coloring books are so popular, why not picture books too?
The author gave me a free e-book for an honest review. In all honesty, I am not a fan of fiction, but these were just cute little stories so I enjoyed them. I love all the paintings that illustrate the book as well. It is 127 pages with 30 incredibly different stories and over 50 paintings. This is the perfect little book to help you relax. It is only available as an e-book right now, but I hope it becomes a printed book because I would love a copy. It is a bargain at $3 and is currently a free download on the author’s website. I don’t know when the free offer expires so hurry.
Happy Friday everyone! It is sad to do a book review without my Lucy, but I got this book to review after she went to The Bridge. Cats on the Job: 50 Fabulous Felines Who Purr, Mouse and Even Sing for Their Supper by Lisa Rogak is an excellent book filled with all sorts of cats who “work”. In most cases, the word work is a bit of a stretch, but all these cats make life better for the people near them.

One cat lives in a bookstore that is named after him. Boswell’s Books is in Shelburne Falls, MA. Being that this is in my state, I hope to get their sometime soon ( hint, hint to Phoebe’s Grammie).
I also enjoyed reading about Roommate cats in Tokyo. A cat and all their essentials is included in an apartment rental. When the renter moves, they have the option to adopt the cat.
There were also some cats at sea that I am sure you will be hearing more about from our guest posters Cat Scouts Maggie and Felix. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. If you are interested you can get a copy at Amazon. Paperback and Kindle are $9.99.
Happy Friday everyone! Today I am going to review one of the last books that I read with my Lucy.
It is a children’s book that I got at a book sale called Purrfectly Purrfect Life at the Acatemy bu Patricia Lauber. Being that my Cat Scout Sammy starts school at Cat Scout University today it seemed fitting.
This book is for ages 8-12 , but I enjoyed it too and would file it under humor in the book store. There are several chapters where the cats write essays about summer vacation and what they want to be. Those were very amusing, similar to the book Cats Letters to Santa .
You can get it on Amazon for 1 cent plus shipping or your library may have it.
See you for Halloween hopping and all the kitty costumes tomorrow.
