Hi everyone! We are joining, The Cat On My Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop.

Brody- still waiting for Precious to join him.
Rusty-very sleepy.
Rosie- looking innocent, but secretly gathering gossip.

 

Penelope- a bit sleepy.

Friday- she likes to be up high.

My hubby and I went mushroom hunting and found all of these. We ate most of them except for the bright red one and The Old Man of the Woods one.

I wrote the poem on Thursday to go with the hog photo prompt and later that day, I saw this at the place the girls take riding lessons. I wonder if we get a photo prompt of lots of money, I wonder if that will appear too?

    Sweet selfies! I hope Brodies wish comes true. Friday looks quite regal up there, as the peers over her ‘subjects’.

    The sure is a lot of mushrooms! I hope they were yummy. I wouldn’t dare eat the mushrooms I find in our yard, unless I had an expert to identify them for me. I will ‘harvest’ a puffball if I see one.

    1. They all thank you. Yes, that is the only time Rusty behaves- good thing he is sweet. Puffballs are not poisonous, but they are not tasty either. XO

  6. Awww, what a fabulous collection of selfies. Mom and dad came across quite a variety of fungus yesterday while hiking at Nockamixon State Park (okay, let’s be honest- compared to western NC, “hiking” around here is more like “walking”), and say that they’d need a pro to identify them, too, before trying to eat them. Otherwise, I know dad would saute them and put them on almost everything he eats.

  31. MOL about the hog…that would be a huge lot of money, Ellen…MOL…Great selfies effurryone. We have three very little, tiny mushrooms in our pear soil effurry time. That must be a snack for us, don’t you think? Extra Pawkisses for all of you🐾😽💞
