We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful for all my cats. They were/are all rescues. Many showed up at our door, others trapped for TNR and I kept them and a few from shelters too.

Right now, Joanie is my only cat from a shelter. I adopted her with her brother, my Angel Sammy in 2010.

Please help spread the word today to help get pets in shelters their forever homes.

  1. Good post for Remember Me Thursday, Ellen. I will probably repost the one I did last year, to social media. Almost all of our cats have been rescued directly from the streets, roadsides, and woods. XO

  5. You have the luckiest cats EVER – you always help the helpless, the homeless, the ones left behind. They have a new and happy life at “Pilch-Haven”…….and we think that’s the best gift of all.

  7. You have provided a happy, safe and loving home to so many fur babies. They are blessed and so are you! All our cats have been adopted from shelters. There are many, many precious little souls in need of good homes. xo

  12. Great post and so important to remind people to adopt rescues. I adopted Oreo and Cookie from a rescue. Kit turned up on our doorstep, a newborn baby abandoned so I consider her a rescue too.
