Hi everyone! Did you miss me last week? Don’t worry, I have 2 weeks’ worth of dirt for you.

Did you know that today is Dress Your Pet Day?

That is why my mom made me wear this sweater. It is kind of warm and comfy.

I am looking forward to Answer your Cat’s Questions Day next week. I have my question ready- Who is the idiot that came up with Dress Up Your Pet Day?

Last Sunday, the kids were here. I let The Boy pet me, he is gentle. I don’t understand why mom, Grammie and The Boy’s mom all smell his butt though. I don’t need to smell it to know he needs his diaper changed.

Grammie’s coffee pot killed Mom’s coffee pot. Mom brought Grammie’s Keurig here to figure out why it wasn’t working. Well, it was on the counter next to our coffee pot and ours stopped working so Mom said Grammie’s had a virus that killed ours. Good thing mom had an extra one upstairs. She always has an extra one because she hates to be without her coffee.

  2. We were having a lot of dying or deaded Keurigs…so we went with a no name brand and its working well!

    M<y cousins just had their first grandson, so I think there will be a lot of butt sniffing there, too, LOL!

    Us pups didn't get dressed up for this day, but we do get dressed up plenty of other times so we'll not grumble one bit!! (Petcretary has been busy with work, taking care of pawppy who got a bad cold, but is on the mend now…and shoveling the snow. The snowmaking machine just won't quit!)

    Rosie, you look quite adorable and nice and cozy! Did you purr??

    1. I like a BIG cuppa coffee and no way do I want those little things. And to me, they are a pain in the neck. I keep an extra pot too. Gotta have my coffee. When the electricity goes off it’s terrible until I can make a coffee run.

    2. My niece has had hers for years with no problem. Yes, lots of butt sniffing. 🙂 I hope they got some peeepee teepees so they don’t get a shower. Rosie did not purr. XO

  3. I’ve thought about getting Ellie Mae some sweaters to keep her warm since she’s lost so much fur. But I settled on a heated bed. I think trying to get a sweater on her would be traumatic for both of us!

  4. Rosie, you look so cute and cozy in the sweater. I wouldn’t be able to dress up, Callie because she would have a hissy fit. I have backup coffee pots too! A day without coffee is meh.

  5. Dear Rosey you look so purrfectly warm in your sweater. This winter is being colder than usual I think so maybe you should keep that sweater on. There’s no way to dress up precious. First I’d have to get under the bed and Bop my head on the bed slats just to try to get something on her, lol.

    We have a backup coffee maker too. We have to have our coffee.

That’s all? ~giggle~ Our three kitties sniff each other’s butts and they don’t wear diapers. lol I have a few movies quotes to fit the situation but won’t share them here as they’re neither family appropriate nor likely something your mom would appreciate. For those diehard movie buffs who enjoy “Clerks II” and “American Psycho”, you’ll understand. Heh… Blessings to you and yours, Rosie.

  21. Sweaters can be warm and comfy, but most pets don’t like to be dressed up. It’s best left to the few who do.

    I’m glad The Boy is learning to be gentle and hope you’ll eventually figure out children can make good friends, even to cats.

    Sorry about the coffee makers. I stick to a French press pot, much easier.
