Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone!

I can’t believe school has not even been in session for a month and there is already a half day.  So much for my peace and quiet. The beasty girls are coming.

Mom got an email last week asking if she wanted to sell her soul. She was kind of scared until she realized it was from the Kia dealership wanting to buy her 2017 Soul. Mom wrote back that she would never sell her Soul.

I am confused. Mom spent most of the year decluttering and harassing dad to do the same, but in the past month, all this has appeared.

She really has an addiction to Halloween stuff. She thinks it looks like Trouble on the purple shirt.

Someone wrote that they would like to hear from Elvira and Friday. I will let them write something soon. I don’t really like sharing the spotlight, you know.

Well, I am off to hide. Happy the octopus will protect me- unless they decide they want to play with her.

  1. Thanks for keeping us informed, Rosie! Hopefully the girls won’t be much of a bother. That is cute Halloween stuff and yes indeed, that does look like Trouble on the shirt! XO

  2. HA HA SELL HER SOUL, that is so, so funny and even if it were the other thing, there would be NO price for that particular soul. PRICELESS, that’s what we think. Hide a bit more under that octopus, okay? Or maybe under a bed….

  3. That must have been scary for your mom to be asked to sell her Soul! I hope you can keep yourself hidden from the Beastie Girls.

  4. Thanks for the update on what’s up at the Pilch house Rosie…..Hang on for this coming month because with Halloween coming your Mom is liable to begin decorating the house with all the scary stuff! Hope you have fun with “the girls” today – if it gets too much just HIDE!

    Hugs, Teddy

  5. Rosie it certainly sounds like you have a lot going on again. We love the Halloween decorations. We’re just sorry that it’s that time of year, m o l. Hope that octopus is strong enough to keep you safe.

  6. Charlee: “Ooh, our Dada gets lots of emails asking if he wants to sell his Subaru, and texts asking if he wants to sell our house—”
Java Bean: “Ayyyy! No selling the house! I like it here!”
Charlee: “—but never if he wants to sell his Soul.”
Chaplin: “He does have that song on his phone though about somebody who sold their soul to rock and roll.”
Oona: “What does rock and roll need with a little car?!”

  7. Love the selling her Soul. I no you would never sell your Soul.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties and a hug to you. XO ♥

  8. The girls have never hurt Joanie, and they’d never hurt you. They love cats just like your mama does.

It would be lovely to hear from Elvira and Friday. Remember, everything is sweeter if you share, including the spotlight.

As for letting go her car, if it works well, keep it!

  9. MOL about the Soul. I’m the same as your mom about Halloween. Christmas will always be #1 with me, but Halloween has CATS! In the past month I cleaned out an entire closet – donated 95% of what was inside to Goodwill – yet I’ve bought so much Halloween this year it’s crazy! Maybe I’ll just refill the closet…

  11. Decluttering seems to be a never-ending process around here. But we are determined to conquer our stuff. None of it is sellable, so we donate. I wonder if you can do that with a Soul?
