Happy Dr. Seuss Day!

Hi everyone. Happy Dr. Seuss Day! I like to have a giveaway for Dr. Seuss today because he was born close by (30 minutes away) in Springfield, MA.

Rosie is posing with the proof of our new book. Unfortunately, there were some errors, so we have to review another proof before it goes to print.

The winner will get a $10 Amazon gift card right away and a copy of our book when it is ready. To enter, tell us the name of your favorite Dr. Seuss book. Mine is The Grinch. I bet you all thought it was The Cat in the Hat. ๐Ÿ™‚

We are joining Comedy Plusโ€™ Awwwโ€ฆ.Mondays .ย

Penny will be here tomorrow with her money saving tips.

  1. I love the one about all the hats that the little boy wore, the exact name escapes me. And though it is not considered ‘proper’ anymore, I have always enjoyed ‘And To Think I Saw It On Mulberry Street’.
I thought that the day was Tuesday, Oopsie!
We have almost all of the books written by Dr Seuss himself, stored in a box in the spare bedroom…our boys loved them all…when they were young chaps!

    1. I have never heard of the boy with the hats. I hope someday you have grandkids to give the books too. XO

  2. We have to say that “The Cat In The Hat” is a fave here…..but all of his fabulous stories were winners. Dr. Seuss had a “magic” about him that has never been copied in all these years. Happy Monday!

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy

  3. Happy Dr. Seuss Day! It’s hard to choose just one Dr. Seuss book. โ€œThe Cat In The Hat”, and “Yertle the Turtle” are a couple of my favs.

  4. OH wow! I love the Cat in the Hat books. To me, you never out grow them. They have a charm that doesn’t ever change. The first one I myself read was about The Grinch so, I say all of them, but the Grinch for a big big favorite. None can be resisted. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Can’t wait for your book to go on official sale.

  5. 1 Fish 2 Fish Red Fish Blue Fish – my favorite part:
He likes to wink, he likes to drink. He likes to drink, and drink, and drink. The thing he likes to drink is ink. The ink he likes to drink is pink”.
    LOL
Please do not enter me in for a prize … although I REALLY appreciate all you do … but I’d like to leave it for someone else … I just wanted to say the rhyme … yeah cause I’m like that … silly me!

  6. An a cat blog it has to the The Cat in the Hat although Green Eggs and Ham is a good one too!

    1. Never heard of that first one. I need to look that one up. Rosie thanks you. ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Green Eggs and Ham is my favorite.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to the kitties and a big hug to mom. โ™ฅ

  8. Charlee: “Oooh, errors! Our Dada says he remembers well having to go around and around and around with errors when he was putting his books together! He misses some parts of the process, but not that!”

  9. I gotta say- Rosie doesn’t look any too happy wearing that hat. Dad and mom are from within an hour’s drive or so from there, too.

  10. Sweet Rosie looks dso arling in her Dr. Seuss hat. I always loved reading One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish to my kids when they were small. They seemed to enjoy the sing-songy cadence and I always thought it got them interested in learning how to read.

  11. I really like them all, but Horton was my favorite. An elephant’s faithful, 100%!

    Rosie, that’s a great pose.

  12. My original comment did not show up. Joanie’s book will be worth the wait! Favorite Dr. Seuss book… Cat in the Hat! Rosie is adorable posing with Joanie’s book.

  13. “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish” holds a special place in my heart. In part, it’s because you, dear Ellen, sent us two crocheted fish in those colors. Polly likes them a lot. ๐Ÿ˜€ Hugs, my dear.
