Friendly Fill-Ins Week 493

Hi everyone. Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. My November to do list includes making Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas shopping.
2. I find the song A Bar Song (Tipsy) by Shaboozey annoying. I don’t like songs that promote drinking, but it has a catchy tune that makes me want to listen to it.
3. Currently, I’m ahead on buying The Boy’s Christmas gifts but behind on spring cleaning. My house really needs a deep cleaning- windows, curtains, etc.
4. I’m unbeatable at nothing.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
My flashback is from November 2014. Angel Joanie has a mast cell tumor removed on her face and had to wear a cone, so I decorated it for Thanksgiving.

  1. Aww, that was nice of you to make Joanie’s cone all festive!

    1. My November to do list includes making Thanksgiving dinner and going out with hubby for my birthday.
    2. I find the songs one hears over and over again in stores from now till after new year’s to be quite annoying. Makes me not want to hear them at home, even.
    3. Currently, I’m ahead on nothing! I spend too much time doing all the outside work, than there is no time or I’m too tired to do household chores like cleaning. At least after you throw it in laundry does itself, not like in days gone by,
    4. I’m unbeatable at nothing. Nope, only maybe some word games…but not totally unbeatable.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 And thanks for these great answers. I hope you have a wonderful birthday. I think you are unbeatable at caring for your patients and making badges for angels. XO

  2. So sorry Angel Joanie had to have a mast cell tumor removed, but she does look awfully cute with those feathers! You’re way ahead of me if you have any Christmas gifts at all ready to go! XO

  3. Oh, you are so unbeatable for us at creative projects and exciting stimulating games and ideas for your darling little nieces and nephew. We see your light under a barrel.

  4. Sweet angel and what a shame that she had to have surgery before Thanksgiving at the time. I’m like you I’m behind on spring cleaning for about the last 3 years, lol.

  5. Sweet pic of Angel Joanie. We haven’t made any plans for Thanksgiving yet. It’s just hubby and I, but we usually put together a small turkey, and all the goodies that go with it.

  6. Thanks for hosting the fun. I enjoyed reading your responses. I almost went the same as you on the last fill-in. 🙂

  7. Charlee: “Don’t worry about being behind on spring cleaning! It’s not even spring yet! Plus I am pretty sure we are behind on our spring cleaning here … from Spring of 2020.”
Chaplin: “Angel Joanie was looking good in her cone! If you have got to wear the Cone of Shame, you might as well make it the Fancy Cone of Feathers.”

  8. Sweet Angel Joanie…she looked so cute with her seasonal decor. Well done.

As for that Shaboozey song, I understand you finding it annoying. I like to think it’s more about getting together with friends than promoting drinking. The fiddling in it is amazing and love that part of the song.

  9. eye am un beet a bull at catchin fizh….they due knot call me
    harburr mazz turr for nothin😸‼️🐟🐟🐟🐟

  10. You are ahead of me, I have not even thought Christmas yet.

Angel Joanie was such a good girl, thank you for linking up with Feline Friday.
