Friendly Fill-Ins Week 437

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. I _____________________ when I feel overwhelmed.
2. My favorite streaming service is_____________________.
3. I try to help _________ when I can.
4. I could tell a scary story about _________.
My answers:
1. I do a brain dump when I feel overwhelmed. I have always written down everything in my head when I feel overwhelmed, but I never realized there was a name for it.
2. My favorite streaming service is Disney Plus. I recently signed up for a month of Hulu to watch the new season of Only Murders in the Building and was able to get Disney Plus for $2 more. I thought the kids would love it, but they have it at home so had no interest in it. I have been enjoying it more than Hulu though.
3. I try to help cats in need when I can.
4. I could tell a scary story about hmmm I don’t have a scary story. I just know I get scared when someone in my family ( 2-legged and 4-legged) is sick.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi. My flashback is Angel Emmy’s Tock shot from October 2019.

  1. I do PHOTOSHOP ART IMAGES when I feel overwhelmed, it takes me into another world.
My favorite streaming service: very personal comment, not suitable for children under age 12, was posted on Teddy’s blog, One Spoiled Cat.
I try to help “others in need with donations and contributions” when I can. It’s the golden rule.
I could tell a scary story: June and I are trying to tell “sort of/almost/sometimes scary stories all month long at Boolatry.

  2. Oh what a delightful photo that last one is of your angel Emmy. I have to write down things just so I don’t forget what to do everyday. I guess I’ve already done a brain dump in that there’s nothing left between my ears, LOL.

  3. I wish I had an on/off switch for my brain, especially at night when I am trying to sleep. That is a cute pic of Angel Emmy’s tocks.

  4. Don’t have a streaming service. At least that I can think of. I seldom watch TV except old stuff (Colombo..Texas Rangers..Emergency..etc etc.) when I do. I have Amazon Prime that I seldom go to…I’m a reader pretty much.

I try to help anyone in need if it is within my power.

I could tell a scary story about living overseas and losing my and my husband’s passports which were in my purse– always with me. Except I left the purse in a restaurant we had breakfast in before he went to work. Horror washed over me when I realised it after walking back to where we were staying for a few months, I ran sock-footed in the snow all the way to that restaurant. When it’s an emergency and this certainly was one, the last thing I thought of pr even realised was the lack of shoes. I was aware on the way back to the hotel though!! Brrrr. The owner of the restaurant came out of the back area with it in his hand. I have not been more grateful for anything since!

    1. Prime is a streaming service. That is a scary story. I have never wanted to leave the country. XO

  6. My brain is ok during the day but as soon as my head hits the pillow I need a serious dump.
A friend told me to think of my very favorite memory…then slowly break it down to colors around me, nature. It works most times.

  7. Hmmm, “Brain Dump”…sometimes I feel like my brain has been dumped and there’s nothing in there but not because I wrote it all down. It automatically empties out sometimes. lol Have a funtastic weekened. I can’t believe it’s almost mid-October!

  8. Writing it all out helps organize it, doesn’t it.

Angel Emmy had beautiful tocks. Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday!

  9. Chaplin: “Our Dada is still under the old yearly price for Disney+ before they raised it $30! He says once they move him to the new yearly price next year, we’ll see. It may go the way of Netflix and HBO Max at that point …”
Charlee: “Which streaming service has Bird TV? That’s what I want to know.”

  10. Emmy reminds me of our Polly, who had her ‘tock’ sticking out the top of one kitty condo while looking at me from the next level down just this evening. lol Thanks for sharing these memories. Hugs, my dear. As for personal scary stories, I’ll keep the most frightening to myself. ~shudder~ Best wishes to you and yours!
