Hi everyone. Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.
1. ________________________ is my favorite Olympic sport.
2. I won’t spend money on _____________________________.
3. I’ve come to terms with the fact that _________.
4. My computer search history includes _________.
My answers:
1. Gymnastics is my favorite Olympic sport. It always amazes me what they can do with their bodies.
2. I won’t spend money on Happy Meals. The other day, I bought the kids some nuggets and fries, but I refuse to pay for a sweet drink and a cheap toy. I was watching them so there was no way they were going to have a sweet drink, or I would suffer.
3. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I am odd, but happy. I recently decided to end weekly appointments with a therapist. I originally started going 14 years ago out of fear that I would become a hoarder. My hubby will make sure that doesn’t happen. Other things, like preferring to be home is a personal choice that I don’t want to change.
4. My computer search history includes where to get dry ice? , JCPenney Kids’ clothes, Temu, Amazon, Goodreads.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
My flashback is from August 2018, Angel Sammy was proud of his certificate for attending summer school at Cat Scouts.

Love the picture of Angel Sammy! XO
Thank you. XO
You have interesting fill ins this week…I too love the gymnastics, both the men’s and the women’s.
1. Gymnastics is my favorite Olympic sport.
2. I won’t spend money on pants without pockets, else where would I put my phone when I don’t have my purse?.
3. I’ve come to terms with the fact that my new horrible schedule at my work is how its going to be unless I quit…I am now an unhappy worker…but if they think they can ‘get rid of me’ I won’t give them that pleasure…but I have made known to them that I am now an unhappy worker (which they don’t want to hear.., because they pride themselves on being one of the best places to work….I now beg to differ.)
4. My computer search history includes looking for weight loss supplements and new tunics to wear with my leggings…and luggage that meets the airline carry on restrictions for a trip I am making in October.
Thank you for these great answers. I am sorry about your work though. You are such a dedicated employee that I would expect them to treat you better.
I am glad you are going to get to go on a trip. XO
LOVE your fill-ins and to us, you are absolutely the NORMAL we wish everyone was!!!!! Creative, fun, lively, smart, caring, sharing, too many words to put here. Just be YOU and we’ll be happy.
Thank you. You always make me feel good about myself. Right back at you- you are all those and more. XO
You are not odd! You are happy being yourself and hubby, the cats and kids love you the way you are. I like watching gymnastics too.
Thank you. Very true, that is all that matters. XO
Angel Sammy looks good with his diploma. And I’m like you I’ve just become a permanent house person. And I’m perfectly happy with that. I bet this sugary drinks are off limits for the girls, lol.
Thank you. Off limits unless I am ready to bring them back to their parents. 🙂 XO
It’s good to see Angel Sammy. He was such a good Cat Scout♥
Odd, quirky… it’s all good. If odd and/or quirky makes you happy then I’m with you, Ellen. I have been on the Amazon bus since The Plague. It is a lifesaver.
My Fill-Ins~
1. Dressage is my favorite Olympic sport.
2. I won’t spend money on gadgets for the kitchen. Just give me my three pack of swiss vegetable peelers, my Oxo manual can opener and my swiss classic snips and I’m good to go. All purchased at Amazon!
3. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I don’t want to travel much anymore and that I don’t enjoy driving in Florida.
4. My computer search history includes cats, horses, blogs and FOOD.
Thanks, Ellen! Have a fun Friday, Meowing Crew!
Thank you. I thought of you yesterday when I went to see my great nieces at their riding lesson. Thank you for these great answers. I don’t usually buy gadgets, but I recently got a spiralizer to make zoodles. XO
My girls weren’t in Cat Scouts. I wish they had been. I learned from Cat Scout Mom’s that the projects took more time (and probably ability creativity) than I had to assist my girls if they joined. My 24 hr. day was strictly ordered. The cats all seemed to have a wonderful time and each one had to actually earn their badges. I don’t think I knew of any girl scouts…I wonder if there were. Who was the Scout Leader? I will say again I genuinely enjoyed all that I was able to read about the Scouts and their exploits.
Yes, there were many girl cat scouts like Madi, Alli, Dezi, Raena, etc. Those badges were a lot of work requiring passing quizzes and writing papers. XO
1. Track and Field and then Gymnastics have always been my faves in Olympics. I LOVE track and Field the very best though.
2. I won’t spend money on cheapo gimcracks. There are better things to send it on Food and gas. BTW, I wish I could find pants with pockets for the same reason that Ingrid stated above.
3. I have come to terms with the fact that I am not 25 any longer. I still can’t believe it!!! So I still act like it, but I do it in a slower more mature way! 🙂 Waaay slower.
Thank you for these great answers. I hope The Great One gets into track, she loves to run. XO
Sweet pic of Angel Sammy!
Gymnastics is my favorite sport
I won’t spend money on furniture. We have enough.
I’ve come to terms with staying home in the summer because it is too hot. I enjoy getting out and around in the fall.
My computer search history includes cats, spider plants, birds, and Amazon.
Thank you. Yes, better to stay in the a/c. I have spider plants. 🙂 XO
Love Angel Sammy’s picture, he was a good scout💗We agree with the first answer, gymnastics are fabulous and flexible😹Hope to participate later. Extra Pawkisses just for you🐾😽💞
Thank you. I look forward to your answers. XO
Those were really good answers and hey, cats are the best therapists.
Thank you. I agree. 🙂
Aww, Angel Sammy.
Yeah, I’m in Goodreads multiple times a day!
I love that site. I hope they never have a glitch because I keep track of all I read there.
1. Swimming is my favorite Olympic sport.
2. I won’t spend money on Hershey’s chocolate. They moved it from about 10 miles from us to Mexico.
3. I’ve come to terms with the fact that there are so many hateful forces in the world. So sad.
4. My computer search history includes Amazon Prime, YouTube, Facebook and Chewy to name a few .
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Ellen. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to the kitties. ♥
Thank you for these great answers. I don’t want any food from Mexico. That is too bad about Hershey. My history is similar just add Temu too. XO
Gymnastics was my favorite summer’s sport. I liked floor routines and the balance beam. When I was in junior high, our gym class had a balance beam. I learned how to do a cartwheel when I dismounted. I wasn’t very good on it, though.
That is more than I could ever do. 🙂 XO
Gymnastics is my favorite Olympic sport too, for the summer games anyway. I’m so excited that Los Angeles will be hosting them next, so I plan on attending!
I could never deal with the crowds.
I tend to be a homebody too. Sometimes I feel like I might be missing out but when I listen to what friends have done, I don’t feel like I missed anything. Accepting ourselves can be challenging.
Same here. I have everything II want at home. 🙂
Excellent fill ins.
I know many adult ‘specials’ include a beverage. We were both rasied on sweet tea; however, we gave up tea about 5 years ago. We drink water with all our meals except breakfast that is coffee.
Hugs Cecilia
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Liking the pic of Sammy 🙂
Good answers to the fill ins.
I once worked in a thrift store…my addiction was books 😉
Now I go to the library. I also found other hobbies and spend time with my cat 😉
Thank you. I love books, but get most from the library. XO
It’s okay to be odd, I know I am and the older I get, the less I care.
Angel Sammy was a good Cat Scout. Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday!
Same here. Thank you. 🙂
Don’t think of yourself as odd…think of yourself as unique! Nothing wrong with that. ♥
Thank you. Good idea. XO
Cute photo of Angel Sammy. Good answers. A lot of the time I’m happier just staying at home.
Great fill-ins. I agree on the Happy Meals thing. Those meals are vile.

That is cool 🙂
