Caturday Saturday

Hi everyone. We are joining Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop. I used Lunapic’s Saber Art effect. The puzzle is below.

I apologize if I don’t get a chance to visit your blogs or respond to comments daily for a while. My husband’s sister passed away suddenly and we have a lot to deal with.  My husband spoke with her on the phone Tuesday night. She was depressed to be turning 80 in a couple weeks, but didn’t say she felt sick or anything. She went to bed and never woke up.

  1. That’s a really nice art effect; good art for Caturday. Ellen, we’re very sorry to hear of the loss of your husband’s sister. Our sympathies go out to you both and to all your family. XO

  2. Oh, dear. So sorry that you lost your sister in law. That is so hard when it is unexpected. Sending you and David lots of hugs and love.🥰

That art effect is interesting and colorful! Saber? I don’t see any sharp objects, though, LOL!

  3. Oh I am so sorry about your sister-in-law. My condolences to David. It is a terribly difficult thing to deal with, and especially when it is sudden like that. Love to the family. XX

  4. I am so sorry, Ellen. I will be thinking of you and your Husband and the rest of the family. I am sending love and hugs to David and you. That is what happen to Jerry’s Mom in 2018. I was thankful that if she had to leave us she went in her sleep but it is a difficult thing to accept. You and David will be on my mind and in my heart.

  5. Lovely kitty artwork ~ will make a fun puzzle too ~ hugs,

So sad to hear of your husband’s sister dying but she had peaceful death ~ lots of healing energy hugs and prayers to you and your family ~

  6. Chaplin: “That is a very cool picture effect. Our Dada says it is kinda cyberpunk and reminds him of ‘A Scanner Darkly’, whatever that is.”
Charlee: “We’re very sorry about your husband’s sister. So sudden, we know what a shock it must be! It makes us think of what happened to our Dada a few years ago, or what could have happened, if he hadn’t woken up on the floor when he did.”
Lulu: “We dogs send lots of tail wags your way.”
Oona: “And Oona and the other cats send lots of purrs!”

    1. Thank you. We will never know what caused her passing because the medical examiner didn’t feel an autopsy was needed.

  7. Please accept my condolences for your loss. It’s so hard, especially at the holidays. Your family are all in my prayers and please feel free not to read or comment on my blog for as long as you need to skip it. Be good to yourself, and tell your sweet husband to do the same.

We are so sorry for your loss – though it does seem that your sister-in-law had a peaceful passage. She fell asleep as usual here on Earth, and awoke in Heaven. It’s those left behind who bear all the grief and We send Our deepest condolences. May her memory be for a Blessing.
