Happy Sunday everyone! I am sure you noticed the cool logo at the top of the page. Many thanks to Jamie Swimm of Diversedesigning.com. To celebrate, I am having another contest -plus I like to give stuff away. This time, the prize isย 3 cat clips for chips ,bags of cat food or anything you need clipped. I will also throw in a toy for your kitty too. All you need to do is post a comment- this time, I am going to wait until I have 10 comments to pick a winner.
Sunday is Every Cat Has a Story Day. The only cat I ever had that I knew her whole story was my first one, KaChoo because I got her as a kitten from my mom whose cat had kittens. Most of our cats have just showed up, been from a shelter or given to me from someone I knew. I always say that I wish I knew what happened to them because so many have issues. David says that I probably wouldn’t want to know, it would break my heart. Every Sunday I will write what I know about each one of our cats, after that, I will ask readers to tell me about theirs. I will start with Lucy……
Lucy is 15 and I got her for my KaChoo’s 7th birthday because I thought she was lonely. My friend had a baby and didn’t feel like dealing with litter anymore. I know that is a lame excuse and when people don’t give their cats forever homes, I hold it against them Forever. I did make one exception to this rule because she is a nice person and I have known her since she was a kid. Plus, Lucy is a big part of my life and I am thankful for that. Sure, she scratched me often and hisses at me, but she does like to cuddle and sit on my lap.
Have a great day and be sure to enter the contest!

I don’t mean to get mad at people, but I get disgusted when people can just get rid of their cats. As if the cat understands why they’re taken away from where they thought they were safe and loved. I got Reggie from Second Chance Shelter after watching him there for a while. He was 10 at the time and he had been there for over a year, I believe. I knew it was along time. No one wanted him, they assumed because of his age. One family took him but because he needs a covered box to pee, (he pees standing up and it goes out of the box if not covered), they gave him back. I felt he had the best personality there and was gorgeous! When my son and I went to look at the various cats, Reggie was meowing at Dominic and pulling at his shirt; as far as I was concerned, he was ours. I’ve never once regretted our decision, he is the best cat I’ve ever had and I don’t even think of him so old; he’ll have lots of years to come because he acts so young and is so healthy. He talks to us a lot, cuddles, and when my ex yelled at me pretty nastily, Reggie attacked him. He made his head bleed a bit and I secretly gave him cookies in the kitchen. ๐
Reggie is a lucky cat that you and Dominic gave him his forever home.
