Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

I am thankful Penelope’s dental went well. Also thankful my other cats’ issues are things we can deal with. I didn’t get to see the kids because they are at Disney, but mom mom and I visited with their kitties. Someone who lives closer was feeding them, but we wanted to check on them a couple times because Nelly is 16 and has health issues.

Thank you all for playing Friday’s Fib contest. Two of you guessed that #1 was the only fib so I write both names on papers and had my hubby choose one- and the winner is Terry of Brian’s Home.

1. I talked to the painter Monday morning and he said 7-10 more days. Fingers crossed.

2 The house deal fell through yet again. The problem is it is on several acres so the 2 buyers that fell through were going to buy it, knock it down and build 2 houses on the land, but the town had all these restrictions.

3. I do have Bluey pajamas. You can see them in this photo of Brody on me.

4. I did take Brody to Home Depot. I had to pay the bill that was due the same day as his appointment and there was one not far from the specialist. I have a rule that I won’t leave a child or a cat in the car so he had to come in with me. He was very good, we picked out paint chips together. I had his carrier in the shopping cart.

And yes, we are giving up shopping to spend time with the kids. And their folks are going to go shopping. I would rather spend time with the kids over shopping.
