When The Great One was born, I called dibs on taking her to Build-a-Bear for the first time so in
August of 2018, I took The Great One for her first trip to Build-a-Bear.
At some point in 2021, I took Typhoid Mary, but I can’t find the photo right now.
And this past Monday, I got to take The Boy.
We are joining Comedy Plus Wordless Wednesday

That build a bear place is a fun thing to be doing. There was NOT one where we are, but we saw one at Grandma’s place in DC when we were there, but the boys were too old to want one, LOL! Then I saw another one in Canada when visiting there, too. Sheesh, too bad they were not around ‘back in the day’!
How sweet that you were able to take all your greats there to make their own bears.
I hope you have a grand to bring someday. XO
I remember that………! I haven’t been to a mall or shopping center in ages – I guess they’re still around – that’s good to know….some things like the fun of building your own bear-buddy ought to NEVER go away.
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
I am glad it stayed in business for all 3 kids to go. xo
Cute photos, and Build-a-Bear sounds like fun. I bet your grands enjoyed it.
Thank you. It was fun for me too. XO
This made a fun family tradition for you. I don’t know if the one giant mall that Columbus Ohio has, even has the Build-A-Bear store anymore.
I am surprised ours is still in business as so many stores in the mall have closed. It was pretty busy the day we went. xo
You are the build a bear auntie! I’ve never participated in one. Looks like fun though.
Thank you. It is fun. 🙂
What fun! Mom’s never been to one!
She should try it. 🙂 XO
Que entrañables imágenes. Los peluches encantan a los niños. Saludos desde Bitácora literaria España

Thank you. XO
Ellen I expect you had at least as much fun as TGO, TM and The Boy…
I was quite excited when I received an invitation to a shower for a baby boy. I knew exactly what I was going to buy. A trip to build a bear. Both parents are runners and track coaches.
I found the most adorable track suit and running shoes. I didn’t know you would need to name the bear for his birth certificate. The couples last name is Young. so I named him Yogi. The mom broke out in laughter. She asked if I knew that her husband was teasing her about naming the boy Yogi? I did not
Hugs cecilia
I sure did. That was a great idea to make a shower gift. Now you don’t put the name in, it prints out blank. xO
The Yogi quip cracked me up. Best wishes to all!
Me too. 🙂 XO
Such a fun thing to do with the little ones.
