Friendly Fill-Ins Week 489

Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. My plans for October include __________ and __________________________.
2. Sometimes it is easier to _________________than _______________________.
3. I didn’t mean to _________, but it turned out that way.
4. I’d rather deal with a haunted _________ than a haunted _________.
My answers:
1. My plans for October include celebrating my mom and The Boy’s birthday and our 33rd anniversary. Also, a day trip to Maine to meet with dear friends.
2. Sometimes it is easier to assemble something than unpackaging it. That happened recently with a heavy wooden table. It was easy to assemble by screwing the legs on, but I swear getting it out of the box and all the wrappings took a year off my life.
3. I didn’t mean to become a crazy cat lady, but it turned out that way. And I am glad it did.
4. I’d rather deal with a haunted than a haunted house. I don’t mind reading about them, but I don’t want to visit.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
The flashback is from October 2017, Angel Joanie was checking out the pumpkins.

    2. Sometimes it is easier to write someone a note than talking to them in person.
    3. I didn’t mean to ever leave Canada, but it turned out that way when I got married.
    4. I’d rather deal with a haunted (nothing) than a haunted( nothing) as I don’t believe in this kind of thing…

  2. Oh, thoae pumpkins!!! What soups and stews and pasta sauces lurk in those amazing specimens….did your honey grow them? WOW. Maybe sell one to Cinderella…

  3. Love your fill-ins. We are happy we get to see you two in a couple of weeks – the highlight of our vacation! I’m glad you turned into a crazy cat lady and I’m PAWSITIVE all those sweet cats you have loved and helped through the years are happy about it too! Thanks for co-hosting Fill-Ins – we love it!

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy

  4. That’s a sweet pic of Angel Joanie.
Our plans for October are to carve a pumpkin, and shop for Halloween decor.
I hear ya about unpackaging. Sometimes, it is almost impossible.
I didn’t mean to become quaint and love cats, but it turned out that way.
I’d rather deal with a haunted story, then a haunted house.

  5. I love the Fill-ins. My favorite feature! And I was going to say I know who you are going to see in Maine! BUT you beat me to it. Love to you and to them.
    1. My plans for October are a new deck storm door and a new knob for the wooden door going out to the deck. AND an Echocardiogram. TODAY! Yuk.
    2. Sometimes it’s easier looking than doing!
    3. I didn’t mean to have just one cat but it turned out that way.
    4. I’d rather deal with a haunted (nothing) than a haunted (nothing) just like someone said above I too don’t believe in that.

  6. I am always surprised to see how much beautiful white furs Joanie had. Such a sweet picture of her… her little fuzz face♥ I am excited for you to make your trip to Maine. Triple festive October… triple cake???… with The Boy’s and your Mom’s birthday and you and your Hubby’s anniversary!
    My Fill-Ins~
    1. My plans for October include waiting impatiently for SSNS to recover from hand surgery yesterday and hopefully not having any complications.
    2. Sometimes it is easier to just give in to change rather than fight it kicking and screaming.
    3. I didn’t mean to lose someone dear to me, but it turned out that way.
    4. I’d rather deal with a haunted_______ than a haunted_______. Nothing haunted, thank you.
    Enjoy your Friday, Meowing Crew!
