Hi everyone! Sorry I am a week late with my money saving tips, but I must insist on getting holiday time off.

First off, I have a money saving tip for my dad. Keep mom out of stores and off the internet until Halloween is over so she will stop buying crap Halloween stuff. These are her latest find-marble ghosts that she says were a bargain at $9.99 for the set.

For all you craft lovers, I have a wonderful freebie for you.   2. That is a good idea for your Dad, but how will he keep track and stuff, maybe take her out till after Halloween, LOL! (and leave your garden?? not likely…)
    Those ghosts are cute…but…(9.99 is $$ that could buy kitty things…just saying!)

    I checked out that site, but I won’t be able to join as I am very busy those days…not with work, but I have all kinds of things lined up for that week, including going to my sister, boarding out the dogs, mowing the lawn, appointments and so on…and it seems if you want to only do a few classes or see them later, then you have to upgrade…which of course in not free…sigh…

  4. Penny, there’s no doubt you deserved a bit of a vacation. This way we stay in suspense until you come back. I kind of think the ghost are cute even if you don’t. And freebies, I’ll have to look into that one. Have a good rest.

  5. Penny, let mom have fun, since Halloween is her favorite time of the year. Those ghosts are too cute, and I agree, you need a vacation. Maybe you can bribe Rosie to fill in while you take a break.

  12. It was easier to purchase when I was at the office; I had my stuff delivered to me there, then I could bring them home in my work backpack…The Hubby wasn’t aware.
    Now, the packages show up on the porch, and he sees all.
    *sigh*

  20. Staying out of stores and refusing to allow online shopping is the best way to save money. It’s also not easy to do, especially when you need to buy food.
