Hi everyone. We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Thank you all for your kind words on yesterday’s post. I am thankful for all of you.
I am also thankful for lots of time with the kids. And that I found some crafts that worked for all three kids to work on together ranging from 2-9. They all painted the Bluey suncatchers.
and colored these magnets. I like how The Great One put her octopus over the water dispenser to look like it is squirting ink.
Here is my poem for Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day to go with this fun prompt.
What are you looking at?
Never had a surgeon that was a cat?
I was a sumo wrestler before I retired
so, I became a surgeon which I always aspired.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. Anyone who can _______________________ is a genius in my book.
2. I find ___________________ boring.
3. I wish I had _________’s ability to _________.
4. _________ often distracts me from _________.
Yay for fun times with the kids and crafting they can all enjoy! And ahahaha, that is a funny poem and picture! XO

The kids sure have fun at your place. That ink-squirting octopus is fun.
Thank you. This was at their house. I always bring a bag of fun stuff when we are staying there. XO
Oooh suncatchers! What a fun project that lasts beyond making-they’re fun to look at too. And what lovely memories you’re making with the kiddos.
Thank you. These were Bluey ones and everyone loves Bluey. XO
Oona: “Those suncatchers are fascinating. Oona wonders why we do not have anything like that here. She would jump at them and jump at them and jump at them and—”
Charlee: “I think you just answered your own question.”
Thank you. Yes, I guess that is why you don’t have them.
Am so glad that you are enjoying being with the little’uns!

How nice to find a craft for all your beloved little ones.
I love your poem.
My wireless keyboard and mouse were not working this morning in spite of new batteries so I’m running very late.
Hugs and cuddles
Cecilia
Thank you. Better late than never. XO
I laughed over the octopus placement, she has a sense of humor like mine.
Fun poem, I felt as if the cat could do more than one thing, too.
She is a fun kid. 🙂 Thank you. XO
Fun poem. Glad you had a good time with the kids. Great craft ideas.
Thank you. 🙂
I’m glad you had fun with the kids, they sure enjoy time with you. That was a fun poem too. Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Thank you. 🙂
Great to find something for all the kids. My sister/friend has three grandkids (ages 3 to 10) and I struggle with finding things for all of them. Your poem was terrific. That cat surgeon could easily be a sumo wrestler as well. Thank you. Art kits with painting seem to work for all ages. XO
Nice to have found crafts that they all could work on!
That poem made me giggle a lot! Very clever!
Thank you. xO
