Hi everyone. Happy 4th of July !

Rusty, Friday and Dusty are all feeling patriotic.

Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. My plans for July 4th include staying home and having burgers and hot dogs with my mom and hubby.
2. I HATE fireworks.
3. I’m grateful that I have the freedom to have so many cats. I am truly grateful for all the freedoms we have in the US too as many countries women can’t even get an education.
4. I wish I could do a factory reset on my body.

My flashback is from July 2017. Angel Phoebe provided me with a perfect blooper when she shook her patriotic hat right off her head.

  1. I really hate the fireworks too! We’ve already heard some, days ago. Wow, those kitties are really decked out for the holiday! That Angel Phoebe photo is just too funny! Happy 4th of July! XO

  6. Happy Fourth of July, and I hope it is a quiet one! I hate fireworks, because they scare little critters. When Callie hears them, she runs underneath the bed. Factory reset on my body – me too!

  9. So fun to see Rusty who really is Rusty… I see that white on his little fuzz face, Friday and Dusty in their patriotic costumes! They are festive for the Fourth of July! That’s a great photo moment you clicked of Angel Phoebe sending her hat flying. I’m with you on your 1 and 2!

    1. My plans for July 4th include grilling hamburgers and having strawberry shortcake with cream.
    2. I hate fireworks. My heart breaks for all the people and animals that suffer on this night.
    3. I’m grateful that I have the freedom to choose where to live, how to live, freedom of speech and the right to the beliefs that I hold dear.
    4. I wish I could do a factory reset on… I think I will pass on a factory reset.

  10. First, those three are ADORABLE in their outfits! Friday just is so adorable I will add, that looking at her rolled my socks down!!! But all three are adorable…not just Friday. And Angel Phoebe..that was a god one! I don’t remember that when she first posted it.
    1. My plans for July 4th are to continue binging on the Twilight Zone Marathon of three days!!
    2. I detest fireworks and if I never hear another pop or bang, I would be lucky.
    3. I am grateful to still be able to go to church, read what I choose, and much more.
    4. I wish I could do a factory reset on …well…a lotta things.

    2. I hate fireworks. Our babies hate all the noise.

    Angel Phoebe made me giggle, that was a great capture!

    1. My plans for July 4th include staying home, away from all the noise and crowds at the airport where the annual Field of Flight is. And they do fireworks there too. We are 8 miles north of there and the thunderbirds regroup over our village…their noise is almost as bad as the fireworks. And its too hot and humid to enjoy being there anyways. UGH!
    2. I only like fireworks when they are on TV.
    3. I’m grateful that I have the freedom to enjoy all the benefits of what others sacrificed so we can live in freedom here.
    4. I wish I could do a factory reset on my joints, esp in my fingers as Mr Arthur Itis is an unwanted guest.

  19. What a cute blooper! And the patriotism is front and center with the boys and Dusty. I know tonight is going to be crazy loud and we’re not looking forward to it one bit. I wish people would go with lasers and drones instead of noisy smelly fireworks. Have a safe weekend.

    I agree, it’s great we have an education system here which is for all of us, I only wish I’d taken advantage of it.

  22. I can take fireworks or leave them alone, but I’m glad we don’t live close enough to a display for the cats to think anyone’s shooting at them.

  23. Happy 4th! Cute photos. I don’t care for fireworks either. Years ago I had a dog and a cat that were terrified of fireworks.

    We hope you ALL had a most wonderful day and that the fireworks do not scare anyone too badly. One of the dogs that was visiting our village campground did NOT like the fireworks and took off. The poor little guy was found abround noon the next day hiding under a shed at the community garden. -Nutmeg turned into Velcro Dog. She glued herself to Mom and shivered! She did not settle down until about half an hour after they stopped.
    (She insited on sleeping with Mom all night too!
