1. Cute picture of you, Penny! Good to know Friday’s dental was less than expected. We’ll have to look into that Walgreens senior discount. XO

2. Wonderful tips, you cutie-pie. And we love the sweater effect….poor little kitty but probably cooler in this weather, no? Mama loves it when she is somewhere that gives a discount and they don’t want to give it, haha. Rarely happens.

3. Friday looks cute with her sweater effect. I am glad the dental wasn’t as much as expected. That is a good tip, Penny. We get discounts on a lot of things, and when we reach government retirement age which is now 66, but was 61 for women and 66 for men when I reached the pension age. That meant I had to wait until I was 61 1/2, and Ivor had to wait until he was 66. We get free bus travel after 9am, and free prescriptions from age 60. Those are the two biggest benefits.

4. We hope Friday recovers quickly. It’s always a nice surprise when something costs less than you expected. This is a great tip, Penny. I’ll have to make sure dad takes advantage of these discounts wherever they’re available since he’s more than halfway to 64 now.

5. We get discounts on several things here too. Some at 55 and some at 65…I should ask oiur vet fo =r senior discounts too, teehee!
   Friday has a new fashion for kitties!! GLad her dental went well, and that is even was less $$ than you had expected. Bonus! That means more funds for treats, MOL!

6. Tho way way beyond those ages, mine Mommy way way too often fur-gets to ask … they should know she’s a SENIOR, oh my, I look at her and know from the greys and wrinkleys!

9. Another discount is the military one. My husband was in the National Guard but did not see active duty so he didn’t think he was eligible. We get 10% at some places (like Home Depot and Lowe’s). We just found this benefit a few years back. It adds up.

10. Discounts are nice. We try to remember to asking for those when we can. I’m not sure how we reached the “Senior” status so fast but here we are and it’s really a hard thing to remember especially when your mind is saying “Hey, you’re still a kid!” 😀 It looks like Friday is wearing short pants with furry boots.

11. Glad Friday’s dental went well. The Lady doesn’t like to ask for senior discounts because it makes her feel old. Some stores give them to her without even asking!

12. You can save a lot of money with senior discounts. We love senior discounts. We don’t have to ask for them anymore because we look like we qualify for the senior discounts. Just saying.

27. Wowzers! You guys get some great senior discounts! Mom had to get a tooth pulled a month ago and the Canadian Government has implemented a dental plan for seniors. But your dentist has to rake part in the program. When Mom went she asked and her dentist has just started the plan the day before her visit! She was ever so happy at the $500 discount!
