Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone. Before Rosie blabs away, we want to give our condolences to Fenris’ mom and fursiblings. To visit, click here.

Hi everyone! Can you see me way up here? This is my new spot for when the kids are here- they can’t get to me up here.

I guess I can get down for now because I am safe until next week. Mom and Grammie are going to their house on Wednesday and Friday, but they aren’t coming here because they have places to go both afternoons.

I heard the recital was good. Typhoid Mary did a hip hop dance with a friend and The Great One and Typhoid Mary were in a group with 2 other girls for Acro, whatever that is. Mom was sad though that there were only 3 tap numbers.

I have a question for you all. Do you know if dna testing can be done on poop ? I ask because someone pooped on the kitchen floor and my mom said she was going to have it tested to see who did it. Just asking for a friend, you know.

My mom is crazy. She is so stuperstitious. She doesn’t think black cats are bad luck and she doesn’t mind Friday the 13th, but everything else- yikes! Here is a partial list of stuff she thinks is bad luck- walking under a ladder, shoes on a table, whistling inside, breaking a mirror, going back in the house after leaving, etc. Last week, she forgot her car keys so rang the doorbell to make Dad bring them to her.

No vet appointments this week. Penny’s appointment last week went well and she doesn’t have to go back for 2 months. She is going to continue the Atopica. Dusty has a recheck next week.

That is all I have for this week.

  1. Charlee: “That is a great spot up there, Rosie! Highest cat wins AND you avoid the kids. You can’t go wrong with that!”
Chaplin: “It sounds like your mom is doing something right with the superstitions, since nobody is going to the vet this week. Sounds like good luck to us.”
Java Bean: “Ayyy, I sure hope they cannot do DNA testing on poop! Some dog pooped in the living room the other day and I would hate for that to get sent to the lab.”
Lulu: “We all already know it was you, Bean.”

  2. Awww, we’re sorry to hear of the vloss of Fenris. That is a great new spot you’ve found for yourself, Rosie! Hmmm, no sure but I don’t think you can test poop for DNA. XO

  3. That is a good safe spot, Rosie. If your mom is crazy so am I! I like black cats and don’t mind Friday 13th. I also agree with the unlucky ones your mom said. Also never start something new on any Friday. When we cut our own hay, if it was going to be ready for baling on a Friday Ivor would always go out the day before and cut two rounds of the field so it was started on the Thursday.

  4. We visited Fenris’v family and we’re so sorry. My mama says hats on the bed is a really bad thing and when you spill salt, you throw it over your shoulder for sure and when you pass it to someone at a table, you set it down first you don’t just hand salt to somebody and that’s an Italian thing And if you see the new moon through a glass window, you have to go outside and turn around three times to break the belt because you’re supposed to see the new moon only outside in the sky. That ought to keep your mama busy for a while.

  5. Rosie, can’t come back in after leaving, eeiiihh. How’s the mom to come back to feed the kitties!
I luv yer high spot. I used to git on the top of the kitchen cabinets, but fur some reason I stopped a long time ago.

  6. Rosie, you be careful up there! I am not superstitious, and Fri. 13th has always been a lucky day for me, and this last one didn’t prove any different. I am saddened to hear about, Ferris, and my condolences to the family.
