Hi everyone. Before we get to the fill-ins, I want to ask for prayers for our friend, Stippie who is having some health issues. To visit, click here. 

And our condolences on the loss of Rami. His story is so sad. He was in a foster home that was trying to help him. His former owners should go to jail. To visit, click here. 

Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. My answers:
1. A day without cats is like a house without electricity. Both are just unacceptable.
2. I find it rude when someone asks me how I manage to not have to work. I used to say , “I am a trophy wife”, but I got even madder when they laughed. 🙂
3. I like to get gifts and cards as early as possible. I am never one of those last minute shoppers.
4. I tend to run late when I can’t catch a cat that has a vet appointment. Brody always seems to know when to hide and he hid really well for his appointment the other day.

  1. We know who has the vet appointment and only that cat hides. The silly dogs seem to like going to the vet even when we tell them ahead of time so they can hide from Mom they stick around all waggy tailed and happy

  2. We’re so sorry to hear about Stippie’s illness and we sent purrs for wellness. We also left our sympathy for the loss of Rami; so very sad. Good fill ins and cute photo of Angel Emmy! XO

  3. We don’t hide but we do not like getting into the car…so it takes a bit longer than necessary to get them all buckled in…(They have safety harnesses.)
    It made me sad too to know all the effoorts to help Rami were in vain… We sure hope Stippie heals up quickly, but we know that Grannie knows an awful lot about homeopathic healing remedies.

    1. A day without classical music is like a silent torture which makes me uneasy.
    2. I find it rude when someone asks me why I still work after reaching my age and recieving SS.and .
    3. I like to get to my work place as early as possible so zi can get a good parkimng spot. LOL!
    4. I tend to run late when as has happened, the batteries in my clock run low…and when the traffic on our back roads keeps me from driving at the posted speeds.

  4. I left a comment for poor Stippie. It is very sad about about Rami and should never have happened. His previous owners were evil to let him get to that state.

  5. Rami’s story was ever so sad and we heard about Stippie yesterday and have big prayers for him. Love Emmy’s flashback though and we wish you all a VERY VERY HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY!!!!!! We were unable to load up our photo for a link for some reason but we’ll try again!

  7. Precious and Brody have too much in common. That’s why her appointment is always at 8:00 a.m. and I have to close the three bedroom doors to keep her in the kitchen living area. But she knows. I find it rude when anyone ask what my job is or what my job was. A job does not define who a person is.

  9. Well, you are a trophy to US, if not our wife, haha. You would be a trophy for anyone who was lucky enough to know you (or that sweetie who married you).

  10. I laughed at your first comment. Many years ago (decades really), I adopted a cat as a companion to the cat I had. She brought in kennel cough (or some respiratory thing) and both cats ended up in the vet hospital for a week. At day 5 I called and begged to bring them home. I couldn’t stand a house without a cat.

  11. I can’t believe somebody asked you that! I totally see how cats could mess up the best of intentions to be on time. That would never keep me from having a cat though.

    1. A day without cleaning something in the dang house is like a vacation without leaving.
    2. I find it rude when someone asks me _______________________. I haven’t had anybody ask me anything I considered rude in a very long time. I think I have heard it all and nothing fazes me anymore.
    3. I like to leave a get-together as early as possible. After the FOOD.
    4. I tend to run late when—I never run late. I do everything possible to be early… way early. I sit in the car and listen to music until it’s time for whatever I have to do.

  17. I try to keep everything normal on the day of vet appointment, but as soon as I go to pick up the cat, they take off hiding. I don’t even have the carrier in view, but they know. The flashback photo is adorable!

  19. Nine fill-ins. It’s been a very sad week with two very special pets earning their wings. We are so sad about both losses despite loads of POTP.
