Nosey Rosie’s Gabfest

Hi everyone! Did you miss me last week?

I have been in hiding from all the kids being around.

Last Tuesday was really tough. There were three kids here. I was expecting two, but she came home with three!! They were so loud. No one tried to bother me though. Friday ended up being the star of that show. The Great One seems to like her best. She got to help at the stuffed animal clinic. They saw a lot of patients including Cookie Monster, Garfield and Yoga Cat.

There was no school Monday because of Veteran’s Day so mom had Typhoid Mary for the day. The Great One stayed home with Grammie and The Boy. The Great One is going to sleep here this weekend though. Today was camping day so Dad set up the tent and Typhoid Mary wanted it to look like outside so she used a bunch of cardboard to be dirt. She taped it all together. A skunk showed up at the campground, so Rusty was checking it out.

Brody is still being a brat about his meds, but most days mom wins.

That is all I have for this week because I was busy hiding.

  1. Laughing off our chairs as usual. What a WONDERFUL way to start the day….cardboard dirt was priceless!!!! Those kids have to be the most creative and charming little devils on earth. Yes, HIDE, HIDE….that’s my advice, Rosie.

  2. Sort of sounds like fun having a bunch of kids to keep an eye on. We love the “dirt” – that’s creative for sure……..we apologize again for forgetting to visit you as often as we should – blame Mom’s brain for that….even though we can’t seem to get notices of your posts, we SHOULD remember to visit our BESTIES!!!!

    Hugs, Teddy

  3. My goodness there’s a whole lot going on this week … kids ‘n’ kits and all kinds of wonderful things! Everybody be on your best behavior but have fun!

  4. Sweet Rosie, since Precious likes to either be under the bed are on top of the bed in what we call a tent, she would have loved to have come play with Typhoid Mary camping. Of course once she got in the tent she wouldn’t have come out. Someone would have had to have brought in tuna smores.

  5. Sweet Rosie, seems you had a busy week with more to come. I hope everyone has fun and I love the cardboard dirt – that’s very creative.

  6. Cardboard dirt is fun! I’m surprised she thought of that option! And Friday, I am proud of you for being such a gun hostess! Glad the clinic was full! I hope all the patients were just having checkups and everyone was well?

  7. It’s good to catch up on the happenings at your house. Kids can be so very loud. Our kitties don’t like loud at all.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday, Ellen. Scritches to all the kitties and a hug to your wonderful mom. ♥

  8. That’s plenty! I do enjoy hearing the news.

Please let your mom know I am commenting, or trying to, but sometimes it doesn’t work. Either way, I am reading. I hope today is a day it will work.

  11. Your Mom is so good to entertain all the kiddos. Maybe one day you will be like Friday and join in the fun.

  12. You’ve had a busy time Rosie. When kids or adults visit me, my cat Scout is under the bed until they leave.
