Thankful Thursday

Hi everyone. Happy Halloween! I was planning to post everyone dressed for Halloween, but my digital camera is giving me grief. I hope to have the photos up by the end of the day. Sorry about that.

So far, I only have Brody’s photo loaded so here is a sneak peak.

I am thankful I will be spending half the day with the girls, my mom and The Boy.

We are also joining Angel Sammy’s Poetry Day.  And here is the photo prompt provided:

Stupid dogs from next door
they will be surprised when I open the door.
They are not fooling me,
my claws will sting like a bee.
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.

  1. Brody, you look spiffy, Happy Halloween! Have a fun time with the family! Funny poem, Ellen, and good questions! I just wish they’d leave daylight savings time in place during winter, too. I don’t like early dark. XO

  2. Brody, you look cute in your Halloween costume. I love the poem and perfect for the image! Happy Halloween! 👻🎃

  3. Dear Brody, maybe your picture can cheer Precious up. Came home yesterday traumatized but with all her perfect teeth. UTB indefinitely. I’ll write your mom later. Happy Halloween and fun time with the girls.

  5. Those pups are going to get a trick I think… no treats! But who knows? Fun poem. Not sure about Brody!!! Happy you get to spend time with the girls, your Mom and The Boy.

  6. There’s no doubt your kitties in their costumes will be well worth the wait. They’re always so cute! And your poem is perfect for the photo and the day. Happy Halloween!

  7. Brody, I’m not sure who you are supposed to be, but why are you looking at your mama that way? Good luck with the camera!

  9. Java Bean: “Ayyy, look at those happy dog trick-or-treaters! Mama and Dada put me in the side of the house away from the door because I kept barking at the trick-or-treaters who came and got candy from the box. Even though the doorbell was off, I still knew they were there.”
Oona: “You must have senses like a ninja, Bean. Oona is proud of you.”
