Hi everyone!

I have been enjoying the calm before the storm. Mom is starting to do photo shoots of us in our costumes. Here is a sneak peak of the costumes.

Mom is going to be having a contest on Halloween to see who can guess who we are dressed as and the winner gets a $10 Amazon gift card.

And next week, the girls don’t have school on Tuesday, so mom is going to have them here all day. I am glad that it is Penny’s turn to blog that day so I can hide.  The Beasty Boys turn 3 on Friday, the same day, The Great One turns 9 so mom is having a party for them on Tuesday, the 5th, when the girls are here. Maybe they won’t be so bad now that the terrible twos are over.

The Great One and her little brother ( AKA: The Boy) are having a joint family party so it is an excavator mermaid party- bet you have never been to one of those. I bet no one has ever had one of those. The Boy is turning Terrible Two.

I know mom showed you a photo of me getting into trouble the other day.

Just so you know, I do not pick trash. I have my pride. I just like to lick plastic bags. I kind of like to tear them up too. A girl has to have some fun.

I hope you all get lots of treats on Halloween and no tricks. See you in two weeks.

  3. Oh, so funny, you plastic-lickin’ kitty. Obviously there was something left on that bag that tasted good. Somebody spilled some ice cream or tuna fish on it, no doubt. You’re just helping your mama clean things up, right? Tell your mama to go on Google and look for TIGER stores and Halloween stuff. She’ll go bonkers.

  6. Wow, Rosie! There is a lot of action going on at your place. I hope you find a good place to hide. Callie rips plastic bags to shreds with her paws. I guess it is a cat thing with plastic bags.

  7. Wow, Rosie. Let’s you and me tune up our phones and I’ll share my technique with thrash baskets! I can turn them ALL over here in my house! I’m good at it too!

  13. My cat Gracie (RIP) used to love to lick plastic bags. She didn’t eat them, just lick them.

  14. Rosie, I look forward to seeing all of your costumes every Halloween! I can tell what a few of them are in the sneak peek, and I can’t wait to see which ones each of you will be wearing this year. Oh, and Rosie, my parents’ kitty Kipper says you have good taste in plastic goods. He loves him a trash bag as well. Actually, he loves all plastic bags and will even try to open drawers and cabinet doors to get to them. Purrs!

  18. It sounds like that Tuesday will be a very busy one at your place – a good distraction for all the craziness that will be going on in our country that day. No costumes for us (at least that’s what we say and we are sticking to it).

  22. Rosie, it’s going to be crazy busy at your house! It’s party time! I will be looking forward to anything and everything that goes on with the Meowing Crew because I am going to try to keep myself doing happy things during the crazy election. Pet blogs are the bestest place to be during uneasy times♥
    Rosie, find your happy place and wait for things to settle. The Beastie Boys will be interesting! Halloween costumes are going to be fun fun fun!

  28. We had a cat who liked to eat plastic bags (the ones from grocery stores). It was a constant battle to keep her away from them because we had been using them to line the the small trash cans around the house.

  29. Charlee: “I’m with you, Rosie. I don’t know what it is about them but plastic bags are delicious. Dada tried to carefully tuck the plastic bag in the trash in his office under the lid after he saw me trying to chew on it, and then he stopped me from trying to open the lid to get at it. I don’t know why he can’t just let me have my little snack now and then.”
