Chumley and Hudson Investigate The King Herod’s Affair

Hi everyone! Today I have a great book to tell you about. Friday is posing with it because wants to support a fellow tuxie.

*I received a copy of The King Herod’s Affair in exchange for a fair review. All opinions are my own.

I am sure most of you follow Princess Erin’s blog. If not, you should. 🙂 To visit, click here.

Erin is a beautiful tuxie cat that lives in England with her caretaker, Mrs. Hudson in the present day. In Chumley And Hudson Investigate The King Herod’s Affair by M. E. Watson, they live in the 1920’s where cats and dogs can talk and are treated as equals to humans. They take on cases to raise some money to support the manor. In this case, they are helping a mama cat find her three stolen kitties.

I really enjoyed this book. I love that the cat is the main character and featured throughout. It is for middle grade students, but also appropriate to read to or with younger kids. I can’t wait to share it with my great nieces. It is a short, interesting read for adults too. I hope this will become a series with many more mysteries to solve. Many thanks to the author for the chance to review his book.

It is available in paperback and hard cover on Amazon. Click here.

  2. Because of your little girls I was so delighted to see you got this book. I know good and well just from the book jacket illustration that this story inside must be just terrific. Friday is a good tuxedo show off the book.
