Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays
Trouble is posing with the books I am currently reading.
The Manicurist’s Daughter by Susan Lieu is a memoir about a child of Vietnamese refugees in America and how their dream crumbles when the author’s mother dies during surgery.
Shy: The Alarmingly Outspoken Memoirs of Mary Rodgers by Mary Rodgers and Seth Green is also an interesting memoir. Mary Rodgers was the daughter of Richard Rodgers. She authored many books, including Freaky Friday.
Rosie will be here tomorrow will all her complaints gossip.
Here comes Trouble … With two intriguing books that sound like interesting memoirs! Trouble looks very sweet tonight! XO
Thank you. 🙂 She is sweet and no trouble. XO
Hi! I recently contacted you about Kiril’s Elvira. I am currently reading “Travels With Charley” by John Steinbeck.
Thank you. I am glad you were able to comment.
Don’t you just LOVE reading? It’s like candy for mama, or in her case, it’s like artichokes dipped in lemon butter or a really nice bowl of pasta alla romana! Books are nourishnent, that’s for sure.
Same here. XO
Those sound like interesting books, maybe a bit sad?
Trouble is looking great!
Yes, exactly. XO
Trouble is posing nicely with those books.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Trouble is doing a good job showing off a couple of good books that you found to read. Looking forward to seeing what Rosie has to tell us tomorrow we had rain yesterday and the temperature dropped all the way to 80 yesterday with humidity of 150. Better this morning.
Thank you. 🙂 She will have a Brody update. XO
Mom loves to read. She just finished one longer book and started on another as soon as she could get up and go get it. She and her DIL go to a used book store often.
I love used book stores. XO
Oh that first book sounds so sad! I hope the author found her American Dream despite the loss of her mother. That breaks my heart! Have a boogietastic week, Ellen!!
Yes, it has some sad parts. XO
Looks like you chose wisely sweet Trouble!
Thank you. 🙂
Trouble is too cute posing with the books. I look forward to Rosie’s meowing tomorrow.
Thank you. 🙂 XO

Chaplin: “Hmm, ‘Shy’ … Sounds like a book about you, Charlee!”
Charlee: “I’m not shy. I’m selective.”
MOL! 🙂
We just finished a book on Alexander Hamilton, who was the least shy man on the planet!
I will have to check it out.
Those books sound interesting.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh, I am ready for Rosie’s complaints! Does that make me a bad person? I worked retail for 19 years… I know about complaints.
