Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays 

Rudy is checking out the latest book I read. I am always looking for fun things to do with my great nieces and I recently saw some squeegie painting on Youtube. I wanted to learn more about it before we give it a try so I got Squeegie Art Revolution by Clara Cristina de Souza Rego from the library.

If you are interested in seeing a squeegie painting done, here is a video:

The girls and I won’t be making our masterpieces until July, but I will show you when they are done.

Rosie will be here tomorrow with all the latest dirt- including how this happened.

  1. Wow, that’s fantastic, an innovation in using a squeegee AFAIK. When we were screen printers for a living, we used squeegees in the printing process. Cute photo! XO

    1. Yes, I remember my aunt ran a silk screen place and I would go in with her sometime- thanks for the reminder. XO

  2. Wait a minute. WHAT happened? We didn’t see anything amiss. What fun with your nieces!!! I suppose you could use peanut butter and mayo and ….un maybe not.

  5. It will be fun to see if you let Rudy help the two girls learn how to paint in july, LOL. Maybe a few paw prints. And am I seeing a new kitty cat sitting on your rug? Can’t wait to get the scoop.

  6. I love watching art tutorials on YouTube! I will have to check out more of these because this is the first time I’ve seen a squeegie being used. Has Rosie been asking you to adopt a dog? I’m pretty sure the idea to pass the blame to the pup, if there was one in the house would be the purrfect solution for many of the mishaps. lol

  16. What an amazing video of such creative artwork! No doubt you and the girls will have a blast! I guess I’m getting blind, I didn’t notice something amiss-maybe Rosie’s explanation will have be hitting my head and thinking ‘oh for heaven’s sake-how’d I miss that.’ Till tomorrow then!
