Friendly Fill-Ins Week 412

Hi everyone! Time for the fill-ins. I came up with the first two sentences and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two. If you didn’t do a post for them, you can also answer in the comment section. Thank you to all who participate. Don’t forget to add your link to the hop so everyone can visit you. The link is open until Wednesday night.

1. A remake of _______________________ would be fun.
2. My favorite cartoon character is _________________.
3. I wish I had better _________ skills so that I could _________.

4. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made with _________.
My answers:
1. A remake of Everybody Loves Raymond would be fun. I would love to see Ray and Debra be the annoying parents.
2. My favorite cartoon character is Garfield. I did have a thing for Barney Rubble when I was a kid though. I wanted him to leave Betty for me- I guess I was a bit of a hussy. 🙂
3. I wish I had better computer skills so that I could do more with my blog. After almost 10 years, I am still very challenged.

4. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made with one of my ferals, Bridget. I can brush her sometimes.
Today is Q Day on The A-Z Blogging Challenge. As you know the theme is Christmas.
Q is for quirky and some of my decorating would fall in that category.
A Scrooge knocker that talks.
An octopus with a Santa hat.
We are joining Feline Friday now hosted by Messymimi.
My flashback is from April 2019, Angel Millie was enjoying his catnip carrot the Easter Bunny brought him.

  1. I loved Everybody Loves Raymond. A great show. I was going to pick Garfield but we were just watching Family Guy so I thought of Stewie. LOL Have a great weekend!

    1. Thank you. 🙂 I have never seen Family Guy. Hope you have a great weekend too. XO

  2. I love Garfield too, closely followed by Simon’s Cat. Those are great ornaments, and a sweet flashback of Angel Millie.

  3. FYI I love your blog just the way it is – but I know what you mean – I wish I could “perk up” Teddy’s blog too but I just don’t have the energy! Love your fill ins…..and thanks for being one of the co-hosts for filling in fun every week.

    Hugs, Pam

  4. #3 is dad’s thing, too. Plus, his memory and patience are also a hinderance. Your Angel Millie flashback is so sweet, and yes, we’d agree with the “quirky” thing, too! Have a nice weekend, Ellen.

  5. Everybody Loves Raymond would be a hilarious remake. Your angel Millie looks beautiful with Easter decoration. And it’s nice to hear you’re able to get closer to one of your ferals.

  6. I love your quirky decorating for Christmas and consider you a friend that is quirky in a most interesting and delightful way. Ellen, Barney Rubble… you make me smile. I would have never quit blogging if I would have had better computer skills. Don’t get frustrated and quit blogging! Angel Millie♥
    My Fill-Ins…
    1. A remake of Family from 1976 would be fun. But wouldn’t be the same without Sada Thompson. It took a dark turn towards the end that made me sad.
    2. My favorite cartoon character is Pooh and Piglet. Their friendship♥
    3. I wish I had better verbal and written communication skills so that I could get to the point faster!
    4. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made after finally getting back to an acceptable normal after the Covid pandemic changed our lives forever. It took me some time!!!
    Thanks, Ellen.

    1. Awww..thank you. You are so sweet. And thank you for these great answers. Family was a good show, a remake would be interesting. I understand #4. we all have a new normal. XO

  7. I like the thought about Everybody Loves Raymond. That’s a great idea! I love your blog so everything is just great there!! oh …. PS … Ellen & Barney sitting in a tree …. (giggle giggle)

    1. Thank you. 🙂 I guess I have always had trouble separating fantasy from reality. 🙂 XO

  8. Pawesome fill-ins, and we think mew are epic on the computer because your blog is EPICALLY EPIC!!!! Angel Millie really reminds us of Angel Snowie, good gravy we miss that white fluffball so much! Happy Friyay to mew all and we hope your weekend is totally furbulous!

  9. We’re tired today so I’m going to pass on playing this week. I did want to say have a great day and weekend. Scritches to all the kitties and a hug to you. xo ♥

  10. I love Friday Fill-ins! And by the way, good seeing Happy out there today. She going to go to the Clinic Monday? Must be a long time taking HER blood pressure.

  11. MY fave cartoon characters are Tom Cat, Daffy Duck, Sylvester and and one, like Bugs, voiced by Mel Blanc.

  12. That is a sweet picture of Angel Millie. Garfield is one of my favorite cartoons too, and I also like Peanuts.

  13. Good answers to the fill-ins.
Mum used a desktop for years and now is on a laptop and that has a learning curve 😉
She is getting used to it and hoping it keeps her old brain sharp…MOL!

  14. Good answers to the fill-ins!
I am happy that you are making progress with the ferals .Mum is used to a desktop and now, using a laptop, she finds it is a bit different. She is making progress though which is good for her older brain 😉 Being retired, she has time to figure things out 😉
    MOL!!

  15. I like the pink octopus in the santa hat! And quirky is the way to go – lots of fun. Oh yeah, a remake of Raymond would be so funny. 🙂

  16. Mom is also in awe of what some people can do with their blogs and wishes she could be more artistic.
Good job with Bridget. Shemust enjoy that brushing.

    Woos – Misty and Timber

  17. Cute flashback! Garfield has always been a favorite of mine. Raymond was a funny show.

  18. Those were good answers and the quirky decorations are super cool. Sweet flashback!!!

  19. Great answers on the fill ins. Garfield is super cute and Angel Millie was too✨ We’ve only changed a few times something on our blog, not that we wanted to, but because WordPurress did that for us without asking, so we had to and it turned out that Granny wasn’t an expert either…🙀 Extra Pawkisses for all of you🐾😽💞

  20. Mama wishes she had more computer skill, too! And oh, that Millie….what a darling and how nice that you can brush a feral. Not easy. We also LOVE Garfield and did for years.

    1. It has taken 3 years to get to that point with Bridget. I wish her son, Tuffy would let me brush him. XO

  21. Awww, we wish you Millie. Hurray, Ellen, for brushing a feral kitty. ~hugs~ My sweet, tame girls aren’t fans, so take great pride in this advancement. ~nods~ Best wishes!

  22. Java Bean: “Ayyy, we have got an octopus just like that! Except ours is blue. And it hasn’t got a hat.”
Charlee: “So it’s kind of not really just like that one at all, then?”
Java Bean: “Well it does have lots of arms though.”
Chaplin: “Hello, Angel Millie! We love your little pink nose!”
