The Last Healer

Hi everyone! Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays.

I managed to get my Kindle away from Rosie long enough to read Charles Huss’ latest book, The Last Healer.

As you know, fiction is not my preferred genre, but I enjoyed his, Identity Crisis, so I gave this one a chance and was not disappointed. I liked this one even more as there was a romance as well as mystery. Actually, there was more than one mystery.

A tv news reporter named Katie goes away to a ski resort for her birthday after breaking up with her boyfriend. She ends up hitting a reclusive man named Joe with her car. Joe has a special power she quickly discovers so part of the mystery is helping him learn more about that.  Plus, they end up investigating a double murder together and, in the process, they become close. I enjoyed this so much that I missed it when I was done reading it. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes romance, mystery and/or  sci-fi. It is available on Amazon. The Kindle version is only $4.99– well worth it. To order, click here.

Rosie will be here tomorrow with all the latest gossip plus a few complaints.

  1. I will definitely be looking for this author at the library. I do read more fiction than nonfiction. And I like mystery very much. Glad Rosie let you finish reading the book. Even though she looks lovely trying to read it herself.

  2. You may not read fiction but you MUST not miss
Frank Osman The Thursday Murder Club series….Mama says you will be amazed at his writing and humor. It’s not really about murder, that’s just a name for four friends at a posh retirement center who start solving unsolved murders all on the sly, a psychiatrist, an ex labor leader, an ex MI5 operative and an ex nurse who bakes things for all of them. You will LOVE them.

  3. Awww, it’s so adorable that Rosie loves to read too.

That book does sound like a great read. I love a book that I miss when I’m done reading it.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
