Awww…Monday

Hi, before we get started, we want to give our condolences to Mark on the loss of his sweet girl, Ayla.

We are joining Comedy Plus’ Awww….Mondays

Joanie is posing with two books I just finished reading. Both were really good. The memoir, Dying to be Me by Anita Moorjani is about how the author was dying of cancer and had a near death experience. I found what she saw very comforting. And The Dog Lived (and So Will I) by Teresa Rhyne was also inspirational. The author tells or her young dog’s battle with cancer and her battle right after that.

Rosie will be here tomorrow to celebrate school being back in session and share the latest dirt.

  3. So sad about Ayla…she sure had a wonderful life with Mr Mark and her furblings. Rest peacefully Ayla; you will always be loved.

Those are good sounding reads. Cancer is such a devastating diagnosis…as many of us know. It changes one’s *whole* life in so many ways.

  4. Interesting books…..as a cancer survivor I find the one thing we ALL share is learning the lesson of the power of HOPE and reading other people’s stories reinforces belief in that. Can’t wait to hear what Rosie has to say about what’s happening at home!

    Hugs, Pam

  5. As we all do and understand Mark’s grief, I am saddened by the loss of Ayla. Rosie, I will see you tomorrow.

  6. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh looking forward to hearing if TGO and TM like their teachers…the first day of school my daughter had one worry:” Who would she eat lunch with”. Evidently eating lunch alone was a no no
    Hugs Cecilia
