Hi everyone! Penny has the day off and Rosie and Elvira are all tired from the 4th of July, so I volunteered to write today’s post. I used to write once in a while on the blog my dad made for his kitties. Here is a link to the post i am most proud of, I wrote all about my dad. Click here and here is a link to a poem I wrote- click here.
I miss my dad, but I like these people. They give me lots of food and love. The lady is kind of strange, she has all these nicknames for me like fried eggs. fry -fry and Princess Friday. I kind of like the Princess one. I have a Grammie now too. I love it when she comes to visit. I like to rub against her. And I like the little person called The Great One. That is not her real name. She made a tunnel maze for me and tried to teach me to jump through a hula hoop, but I went under it instead.
She left something in my room the last time she was over.
Notice my sister Elvira is keeping her distance and letting me investigate. It looks like a turtle sitting on a toilet. He sings, “uh-oh, gotta go” and he repeats anything you meow.
Must be a Massachusetts turtle because I never saw one like this in Texas.
Well, that is all I have for today. Have a great day everyone.

Friday, you are a good blog-post writer! We gad to giggle when you told us about the turtle on the toilet. OMC!!
We haven’t seen turtles like that in Michigan either…LOL!
Neither did we, when we used to live in Texas…that is where we too, came from, before Michigan became our adopted home state, since that is where our pawrents live.
Thank you. I guess it is a Massachusetts turtle. 🙂 XO
Good work on the post, Friday! It’s good you are settling in so well! XO
Thank you. XO
I’m glad to see you are enjoying your (not so new now) home, Friday!
Thank you. 🙂
That is a funny turtle. Do you whap him?
No, I just smelled it. 🙂 XO
Friday you are certainly “living the life” with your sister now aren’t you! I’m afraid that turtle on the potty is an item you won’t find in my house……but then you have The Great One visiting you and no doubt she has a whole lot of interesting things to play with! Happy you are doing well in your new home.
Hugs, Teddy
Thank you. Yes, very interesting things to play with. 🙂 XO
What a guy! Wonderful man, poet, writer, walker, what a brilliant man. Mama is from Houston, but born in Dallas at Florence Nightingale hospital, which was torn down. Not because she was born there, but…
Lots of mama’s family is from Houston. But she left asap when country clubs would not admit Jews or Blacks…
That is awful about the country clubs. XO
Mom said to ay she is so sorry she hasn’t been here much the past several weeks. Maybe soon.
We understand people get busy. XO
What a fun Friday on a Tuesday! I enjoy learning about you. Fried eggs ?? LOL …. and the turtle on the toilet … oh my!! What interesting things I’ve learned so far today!
