Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful I will get to see The Great One on Friday. Joanie is thankful for a new friend. I scored him a few weeks ago at Barnes and Noble for $2. I purchased several to use as gifts or to donate to Toys for Tots. I am keeping one though because I like snowmen, especially Olaf. Everyone loves Olaf.
We are joining their poetry day named after Teddy’s angel brother Sammy ‘s Poetry Day. Here is the photo prompt provided:
Snow in December is a lot of fun,
Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two. The linky stays open until Wednesday night.
I love you give to Toys for Tots. Did Joanie get an Olaf? Love your Thankful for.
Thank you. 🙂 Olaf is mine, but Joanie and I can share. XO
I love this post! 🙂 <3
Thank you. 🙂 XO
We bet Joanie was very happy to add to her family. Olaf is a fun guy.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Yes, she was. 🙂 XO
Olaf!! Joanie will love him to bits:)
Snowmen in March?? No thanks…no offense but let let them leave after Christmas, LOL!
That is a cute poem, and I agree with those sentiments precisely!
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Olay is the only snowman who is welcome this time of year. 🐸
Very true. 🙂 XO
Olaf the Snowman is cute. I don’t think the hitchhiking snowman will last long in Florida!
No, they wouldn’t last long. 🙂 XO
We’ve always loved Olaf……he’s a cuddly snowman unlike the ones we see out in people’s yards in the winter! We also love your poem for today’s Poetry Day – I think the snowman in the photo is going to wind up as a puddle.
Hugs, Teddy
Thank you. 🙂 Everyone loves Olaf. XO
I’m thinking most people are happy to see the snowmen take a long break. I enjoyed your poem. Always nice to see Joanie with a new friend. Olaf will be a nice friend to have around. So happy you get to see The Great One.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Welcome to Joanie’s family, Olaf!
He seems happy. 🙂 XO
Olaf likes warm hugs 🤗⛄
Yes, he does. 🙂 XO
Olaf is purrfect for today’s poetry theme!!!
The Florida Furkids
Thank you. 🙂
Hooray for Olaf joining the family!
Fun poem, and thanks for the fill-ins.
Thank you. 🙂 I look forward to your fill-in answers. XO
WOW, your new friend sure looks super cool! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Thank you. 🙂
What a fun post…and poem. Barnes and Noble stuffies have been some of my favorite over the years too.
Hugs Cecilia
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Awww… Perfect poem to go with Olaf’s homecoming. 🙂
🙂
I’m happy you get to see the Great One tomorrow.
Love the poem.
I’m all ready for the Friendly Fill-ins.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. ♥
Thank you. 🙂 I look forward to your fill-in answers. XO
Aw that’s a cute photo! Good poem too.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
I just remembered I forgot the scritches to all the kitties and a hug to you. ♥
Awww…thank you. XO
Can’t agree more with that poem – come on Spring!
🙂
Toys for Tots is a great donation! And your poem is spot on! Have a lovely day!
Thank you. 🙂 Hope you had a great day too. XO
You got a great deal. I like snowmen too.
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Joanie loves Olaf and we do too. That is a fine poem!
Thank you. 🙂 XO
Olaf really is adorable! Have you seen him in the Frozen Christmas special with two kittens? I have one of the plush kittens too.
Yes, I have. I didn’t know there were kittens you could buy.
Mom loves Olaf. He is one of her fav Disney characters. I think it’s ’cause she misses the snow; she grew up in snow country.
He is my favorite. I love snow. 🙂 XO
Olaf always makes me laugh! There is a 10 foot statue of a Sasquatch on the way to Osoyoos and last Christmas someone dressed him up as Olaf! I loved it as I went past! In the backstory, is the snowman in your poem named Olaf? The poem rocked! Have a marvellously happy day!
I wish you would have gotten a photo of that. 🙂 XO
We had to look Olaf up to find out who he is! (We’ve never seen Frozen.) He looks like fun.
You should watch Frozen sometime- even my hubby loves it. 🙂
$2 – what a steal! Olaf is very cute and funny.
I was amazed there was a bunch on the $2 table. 🙂
I agree! Everyone loves Olaf! Seven years ago we had 10+ inches of snow on spring break. Yikes!!
I hope we never get that much in March. 🙂
Spring can really try one’s patience!
It can. 🙂
There is so much truth to that poem!!
Thank you. 🙂
