The A-Z Blogging Challenge- T

Hi everyone! We are up to the letter T in The A-Z Blogging Challenge. In 2016, I wrote about Ingrid King’s Tortitude and the children’s book Toto The Tornado Kitten. To read about those, click here.

This year, I recommend Not So Sweet Toffee by Toffee Keeneor-Leach. I follow Toffee’s blog, she always makes me chuckle.  And now she has released her journal of all her thoughts on the humans she lives with and her love of prawns. You can get the Kindle version for $2.99 and the paperback is only $6.17 with free shipping for Prime members. Click here.

We are also joining  Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful my loved ones are safe so far.

We are joining Sammy’s Poetry Day. Here is my poem based on the photo provided by Pam:

How sad that no one lives there
would be a great place to give cats care.
I’d let people vacation for free
in exchange for cleaning cat pee.
And here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. I came up with the first two and my co-host  Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with the second two.
1. If I couldn’t live in my country, I would live in ______________________.
2. I wish I had kept _________________________ from my childhood.
3. I would choose _________ over _________.
4. _________ doesn’t matter in the long run.

  1. MOL, MOL!!
What a funny little ditty you penned:)

Yes, we, too are ever so grateful that we are all safe and healthy…and we sure pray we stay that way, and all our friends, too. Of course that means YOU!
We do have a family in our Church, whose son and daughter-in-law were affected…and she is pregnant. But after HE spent time in the hospital, they are both fine, PTL! Hope the baby will be too.

    Purrs!

PS: I still cannot see anything of your blog on Firefox. It only lets me comment if I use Opera. Not sure about Safari.
    WordPress can be strange sometimes.

    1. Thank you 🙂 I am glad your church friends are better and hope the baby will be too. I am sorry my blog is being difficult. XO

  2. That sounds like a fun book!
I wouldn’t like to live in those faux chateaux. They look creepy in regimented lines like that.

  3. Definitely going to follow your link to Toffee’s blog! Those homes a bit strange.

  4. We’ve never fed our cats prawns or shrimp, but it seems that a lot of cats enjoy them!

  5. Toffee is sure a cool one and your poem was darn cute! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  6. Okay, now I want shrimp. Can’t go out, but when I can shrimp will be on the menu.

I’m all ready for tomorrows fill-ins. Thanks for co-hosting the fun.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Hug to you and scritches to the kitties. ♥

  7. That is a fun poem!
As for the fill-ins, if I couldn’t live in my country, I would live in a tropical island 🙂

  8. Cute poem:) Thanks for the links. I’ll visit Toffee’s Blog. Take care and stay safe.

  9. I enjoyed Toffee’s book. And Sammy makes a great book rest. 🙂 Take care, my dear.

  10. Pawsome choice for the letter T
The fill-in questions are neat. Look forward to your answers.

  11. Wowza! Somehow, I lost your blog, along with a few others! Seems you have a new theme? Anywho, it looks nice.

    1. When I changed themes the emails stopped going out to people and I have yet to resolve it.

  12. That’s the best idea of the day, a cat place for all the Kings, Queens, Purrinces and Purrincesses. Well done miss Ellen😸Clean Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏🐾😽💞

  13. We just heard about this book today!! What a coincidence. Now mommy must read it to us.

  14. Oh, I LOVE that poem! I’m an expert at cleaning cat pee, so I would definitely take you up on that offer – MOL! I’m so excited I won the Bored Bustin’ contest – THANKS!

  15. A cat’s thoughts make a great book, i am sure.

Your poem made me laugh out loud, truly!

  16. Hmmm. We used to read Toffee a while back. Cool books by cool authors. We won the Tortitude book.

  17. Hello there. This is Toffee. Thank you furry much for mentioning my book and also thanks to you and other commenters who have said nice things about my blog. My old woman fears I may become big-headed. I look in the mirror every morning and am happy to report it is staying the same size. By the way, the old woman loved your book too and I believe she has left some kind of review on Amazon. I think she liked it because she kept saying things like, “Oh, that’s cute!” as she read it.

    1. You’re very welcome. I am glad you checked and your head isn;t getting bigger 🙂 Thank you to your human for the review. XO

  18. HAHA! Such a fun and silly poem 🙂 I’m also very grateful that everyone I know is safe and sound.

  19. I’m so glad you (and Sammy!) shared Toffee’s story and blog here. I can’t believe I haven’t visited her blog or read her story before. And I love your poem. All those pretty homes would be such a purrfect place to house homeless kitties. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a community of homes for that purpose? Purrs!
